Chapter 80

The next morning the Gills leave for Australia 🇦🇺 and Sidharth goes back to Mumbai later that afternoon.

In Mumbai

Sidharth reached home and he went straight to his room after saying hi to his family .. he laid down on his bed and was scrolling through his phone and looking at the pictures together .. he really missed her ..

Rita - Sidharth do you want to eat anything?

Sidharth - no mum .. I'm fine I think I'm going to rest a bit can you wake me up around 6 I have a meeting at 7 ..

Rita - ok I will and she left his bedroom...

Sidharth went to sleep or he tried to but couldn't .. he got up and sat up on his bed and looked at the time it was  5 :30pm he thought to try to call her .. he dialed her number but it was switched off .. he made a face and laid back on his bed and hugged his pillow ..

At 6pm Rita maa came to wake him up so she knocked on his door and entered and said sidharth wake up you don't want to be late for your meeting ..

Sidharth moved the pillow as it was covering his face and said I'm already awake mum .. I'm getting up now

Rita - ok good I will make you some tea ok

Sidharth - ok mum .. and he got up and freshened up and changed his clothes into something semi casual.. he came outside and Rita maa was putting the chai in the cups and walking out of the kitchen and she handed him his cup and said come sit .. he sat next to her on the couch and she asked all ok ?

Sidharth - yes mum all is fine .. I'm just missing her

Rita - I understand but she is probably still not reached yet

Sidharth- yeah maybe .. and says I better go for the meeting ..

Sidharth takes his keys and leaves the house and walks down to the garage area and hops into his car and drives to his meeting ..

At the meeting which was for a web series with some top Bollywood directors and actors ..

He goes inside and his team was waiting for him and they go over the role and how they think sidharth is suited for the role .. sidharth had a look through the script and he likes it too and says ok let's do it and he signs the contract there and then .. he bids goodbye to everyone and leaves to go back home ..

Back at home

Sidharth - mum I'm back .. what's for dinner ?

Rita - peeli dal and aloo sabji with roti and rice with salad and yogurt .. do you want me to make you a plate ..

Sidharth - yes please I'm so hungry mum ..

Rita maa puts food for him and brings him the plate to the dining table where he was sitting .. she sits next to him and asks how his meeting was?

Sidharth- good I signed a web series .. I will start this project in 2 weeks.. and in the meantime I have interviews and appearances on some tv shows ..,

Rita - that's good at least you will be occupied..

Sidharth - yeah that's right .. it will keep me busy ..

Rita - when will she be back do you know

Sidharth - hopefully by next month .. crossing his fingers ..

Rita - ok chalo are you ok washing your plate ?

Sidharth - yes mum .. I will clean up you go to bed ok ..

Rita - wow that's a first .. chalo goodnight and she kisses his forehead and walks into her room ..

Sidharth finishes his food and cleans up the kitchen and goes into his bedroom and he changed his clothes and his phone beeps ..

He looks at his phone and it's Shehnaaz... she sent him a text message saying she arrived back home and she will call him soon .. he smiles and text her back ok jaan I'm waiting for your call .. she reads the message and smiles ..

Shehnaaz reaches back home after like 6 months and rushes into her room and hugs everything in sight all her stuff animals just everything even the walls .. she freshens up and lays down on her bed and calls him ..

Sidharth - hi jaan

Shehnaaz- hi bebu .. how are you?

Sidharth - I'm fine and you ?

Shehnaaz- I'm good .. just tired

Sidharth - what's the time there .. ?

Shehnaaz- it's 3:30am in the morning ..

Sidharth - hmm how was your flight ?

Shehnaaz- tiring bebu .. but I'm so happy to be back home in my room I missed it ..

Sidharth- yeah I understand that feeling .. I have some news to share with you

Shehnaaz- yeah say ..

Sidharth - I signed a web series today it starts in 2 weeks

Shehnaaz- oh nice bebu .. I'm so happy for you ..

Sidharth - thank you jaan .. I miss you 🥰

Shehnaaz- miss you too my kullu .. ❤️

Sidharth - hmm you must be tired 🥱

Shehnaaz- yeah I am didn't get much sleep on the plane at all ..

Sidharth - do you want to sleep? We can talk later In the day ..

Shehnaaz- no I want to talk to you and she yawns 🥱 for a bit longer

Sidharth- ok sweetheart.. I love you 🥰

Shehnaaz- I love you too .. what else you did today ? How is the family ?

Sidharth - not much got back from Delhi around 2pm and then tried to sleep and had a meeting at 6pm with the web series people then got home had dinner and now I'm talking to my love .. and everyone is fine here . Just missing you..

Shehnaaz- that's good I'm glad you had a good day .

Sidharth - yeah I guess it was .. baby video call me I want to see you..

Shehnaaz- ok and she switches the call to video .. and they see eachother .. sidharth is just in shorts lying on his bed and Shehnaaz is in a simple singlet with shorts ..

Sidharth - looking gorgeous jaan

Shehnaaz- hmm thank you bebu .. while rubbing her eyes ..

Sidharth - baby you are tired go to sleep and I will call you once I get up ok and we can talk ..

Shehnaaz while yawning 🥱 ok bebu I love you good night and gives a fly 💋.. and sidharth gives her smile and gives her a fly kiss 💋 and they hang up the call and go to sleep 😴..
