Izumi's P.O.V
I lay in my bed after having dinner with my parents, thinking of the events that had unveiled right before my eyes today, especially when I was with Touya...I don't know why, but these days, he's becoming more flirtatious towards me...and it somehow tickles my stomach- it's almost like there's butterflies, but what does that mean!?

"UGGGHHHH!!" I groaned into my pillow, feeling very frustrated at what is going on - I was so frustrated, I didn't notice the door to my room open. "Zuzu, honey, are you okay?" I heard, so I immediately lifted my head from my pillow, and saw that it was mom who had entered my room. "Mom?" I asked, clearly confused as to when she came in here.

"Mhm, so are you okay? You looked frustrated when I came in" she told me, as she took a seat on my bed, next to me, "I also noticed that you came in the house looking a bit red, so I came to check on you after I had thought you had calmed down a little..so are you okay?" She asked me. 'She's my mom, so I can tell her of this thing that bothers me right?? I can tell her right?' I asked myself as I looked down onto the blankets, as I was still lying down on my bed, confused if this is even a thing to tell her about, all my doubts were answered when I heard my mother say to me, "you know Mimi, you can tell me about anything that bothers you, okay? No matter how big or how small it is, I'll be there to help you out with anything, okay? As your mother, I should be your best friend, you shouldn't hesitate to come to me about anything, okay?" She told me.

Now that she had said this, my doubts were all erased, so to reply to her, I nodded, "okay.." "So tell me, what seems to be the problem?" She asked me. With a few seconds of silence, I decide to speak up, "Mom...what does it mean when your heart beats five times than it usually does...when your face heats up like it's being set on fire, or when your stomach feels like it's being tickled by a bunch of butterflies..." I asked her, still staring down at my blankets, fiddling with my fingers. "Oh?" My mom hummed, "does it occur mostly around a certain someone?" She asked.

It was somewhat true though, so I answered, "Yeah...is that a bad thing?" I asked her, looking up at her from my blankets, only to see her smiling at me. "My dear Miyu, there's nothing wrong with that," she begun as she reached her hand out to stroke my hair, "that just means you like someone, or better as, you have fallen in love with them. Those were just one of the many symptoms you could experience when you feel this way towards someone, for example, you could feel safer with them, or that you randomly smile when you think of them." She explained to me, which surprised me, but made sense at the same time. "Oh..." I said, looking away from her as I felt a blush grow on my face now that I had realised what was going on... 'Im...I'm in love with Touya!?' I thought to myself, totally feeling my face blow up and burn, which got worse after what mom said after, "Sooo, Izu, who's the lucky guy?" She asked in a some sort of a teasing tone, which made my face burn and turn so red it rivals Katsuki's eyes- yes, I call him Katsuki now, not Kacchan, Kacchan was my best friend, Katsuki is my bully and main tormentor, but luckily I got Touya with me now, the bullying and teasing isn't that much...BY THE WAY! Back to mom's question..I was still blushing as she suddenly turns my face towards her, "come on now, 'zu, who is it, you can get all flustered later." She said to me, giving me one of her warm smiles that really encouraged me to open up on this. "..it...it's Touya."

No one's P.O.V
When Izumi admitted that it was Touya she was feeling all these things for, Inko's face lit up like Christmas lights and had this happy smile that grew in her face, "Izu, hunny, you're in love with Touya?" She asked in astonishment, to which Izumi nodded, still wearing that scarlet blush on her face. "Oh hunny, c'mere." Inko said to her, opening her arms signalling for a hug to which Izumi reciprocated, sitting up from her laying position and going into her mother's arms. "I'm happy for you, hunny, and I must say Touya is indeed a great person, but now that I see you have fallen in love with him, I guess it's about time I gave you the talk, ey?" Inko said to Izumi, while stroking her hair. "What talk?" Izumi asked her mother, "well, since by now you know of all the body changes and other things that will approach you as you're now at the appropriate age to hit puberty, such as menstruation etc., there's also things you need to avoid, especially since hitting puberty will awaken the sexual hormones within you as a female, also for the fact that you are now that you're being drawn to a certain boy of your choice." Inko started explaining as Izumi listened attentively, "when you hit puberty, like I said, sexual hormones get awakened, and if not controlled, you could contact either a sexually transmitted disease, or an unwanted pregnancy. You could also contact HIV and AIDS, which is mostly contacted by either unprotected sex, or touching infected blood with no protection whatsoever. If ever you do get into a relationship with Touya, you guys can do all there is that a couple does, except for sex, until the time is right. Sex is not a game, and one mistake could do somethings that will alter the way your life is running now - I'm not saying it will ruin your life, I'm saying that it will make you work more harder than it was to achieve what you wanted to before you contacted the pregnancy. And with HIV, we have myths as well, they say that kissing, sharing utensils, mosquito bites and other things, but those are not true, it is only contacted by either unprotected sex, or contacting infected blood. Which is why in the case of sex, there are terms 'protected' and 'unprotected', when protected, it's when you use a condom, a condom is a piece of rubber that a guy puts on his p*nis to stop the sperm from meeting the egg, which if it does, it fertilizes and grows into a pregnancy. There also many other ways to help prevent pregnancy and HIV/AIDS or any STI if you ever one day to do it unprotected, we have PrEP pills, which are the Pre Exposure Prophylaxis, those help prevent HIV, or you could have contraceptives to help prevent pregnancy, although they must be taken within 2-5 days for them to work." Inko completed, still holding Izumi in her arms, who was, by now, a blushing mess because of the new information she had learnt. "Also, the appropriate age to start getting involved in sexual activities is 16-18, so it's nothing to worry about, but that does not stop me from educating you so that you know what to do when the time comes, okay?" Inko told her, stroking her hair as she lightly placed a kiss on her daughter's forehead.
