"Doesn't it Feel Good To Be Back?"

After a while of running I stopped for air and my body fell in the hot sand as I doubled over in it not making my burning body any better. I gasped for air and groaned in pain all at the same time. I clenched my teeth breathing through them to keep from screaming at the pain.

"Weak." I heard whispered over and over again. I looked around but there was no one there. It started to get louder in my ears.

"Shut up!" I yelled angrily. Again they started to get louder than before. "Don't fall for mind games." I said repeatedly reassuring myself. The more I said it, the more it didn't make sense… No one is around, what mind games? They got louder yelling weak to the point to where I couldn't hear my thoughts. My head started to hurt and I covered my eyes with my hands but it didn't help.

"I'm not weak!" I yelled out to no one. I once again saw younger me. There was blue swarming all around him as he covered his ears crying. He picked himself up and started to yell 'No' at everything that was swarming around him. He turned to look in the mirror that I hadn't even noticed form. His stare turned blank and focused.  He stared directly at me through the mirror and finally he said, "Obey me." Everything around him stopped and went into him. He turned around and walked to me grabbing my shoulder.

"They obey you not the other way around. I'm gonna show you everything you need to know. Those things you hear they help you take in everything around you. You hear every conversation, you can  hear a pen drop in a room full of people. Your not use to it anymore that's the reason your head hurts. You've forgotten so much, our brother is....Disappointed. I must show you, but first...Sleep." He said and a before I knew it I was laying in the dirt. The last thing I remembered was looking younger me in the eyes as we both fell asleep.

I was in a dreamlike state but I wasn't asleep. I was walking side by side with younger me. He looked up at me and smiled causing me to smile back. Suddenly an area appeared around us, I saw me and Mark in the back yard training. We fought each other but not normal fighting. He was set ablaze purple and I blue. We fought not being able to overpower one another. Yet he overpowered me in that room no problem.

"He overpowered you because you’ve locked your powers away. Your body doesn't remember so it gave a fight or flight response. It thinks it needs to respond in a humane way. Which is good to have control of in a public place. But out here with our brothers and mom we don't have to hide anything." He said. He got in stance to fight me and I got in stance as well.

He beat me up the first couple of times but once my body remembered… it was over. We fought for hours to no end. "You're as strong as you once were and more importantly you remember everything about Mark and us. I nodded to him agreeing that it was great that I now knew everything.

"You should head back, their probably worried. It's getting light outside now." Younger me spoke again.

"Actually the whole objective is to get away from them." I said chuckling.

"I can't let you do that. Mom's given us everything, Mark and Kane as well. I have to make you like we once were." He responded.

"What do you mean once were?" I asked looking at him confused.

"Like when we followed our brother like a dog on his heel. When we obeyed his every command because we knew blood was thicker than water. He gave us our purpose Matt. Yeah we had a good childhood, but I know you miss that connection. Those times when we knew no one understood us better than our brother." He said seriously.

"Why does every one keep saying that!? I didn't follow him like a dog!" I stated, annoyance evident in my tone.

"Yes you did! Yes WE did, you may have chosen to forget, but I remember! We loved our brother, we took care of him! You have to let him guide you back to what you once were. No mercy, No fear, No kindness. He needs his twin, he needs his brother. He needs us like that again." Younger me said seriously. It almost sounded tempting for some reason. Just moments ago I was denying it.

"I'm not doing that again!" I snapped at him trying to convince myself in the process.

"I beg to differ." He said before touching my face. I stared in his eyes and before I knew it, I was sat across from myself. My eyes shined blue and everything around us turned black as I turned to look myself in the mirror. The second body I saw faded into my own. My body shined blue as well, along with my eyes. I cracked my neck feeling almost euphoric at the sudden feeling.

"Doesn't it feel good to be back?" Younger me asked from inside.

"Yes it does." I said. I looked more menacing than before. I thought I looked like Mark before, but I really looked like him now. I realized the thing that was missing. The little spark in my eyes, the one that was always up for causing trouble. I made my way back home ready to show my brothers what I had become. I walked through the front door and stood quietly as I stared at the 4 people on the couch. Mark saw me first then, Paul, Kane, and Mom. Mark stood, before walking up to me. I said nothing only staring in his eyes.

"My little brother, no longer weak but equal. This is who I want to rule the WWF with." He said proudly. This made me smile widely at him.

"And we will rule." I confirmed. It was his turn to smile widely at me. Kane stood up looking me in the eyes before nodding, even without seeing his face I knew he was smiling under the mask.

"The big brother I remember. No mercy." Kane said telepathically. I smiled at him as well. Then my mother and Paul walked up to me with a smile. I felt proud because everyone was proud of me. Everything finally felt normal in this house for the first time. We talked and laughed all night until we decided to head to bed, turns out none of us had gotten sleep.
