I slowly put my diary down.  All that happened so long ago. We actually did end up living very happy lives.

Mum married William, they met on holiday and instantly fell in love.  They are still in love today!

Dad married Cass, she worked in his office and he had really liked her for a long time, they dated for a while and finally fell in love. Not a passionate type like mum and William, but the long lasting type, when two people click, they were so similar and liked all the same things.

Greg went to university and got a double first in physics and mathematics, he was always the brainy one, he went on to study forensic science and is doing very well for himself. He married Jessica and she is expecting their first baby any day now.

Paul managed a first in mathematics and is teaching at the local secondary school. He turned out to be extremely socially minded and is set to transform the world for a better place! He is engaged to Miranda, she is so cute, a little hippy, but loves Paul so much.  We are waiting for them to announce their wedding date soon.

And me. Well, I am not the brains of the family and managed only a second in Arts and Drama, which didn't really help me get a job in anything.  I took a marketing course and started work for a large advertising agency.  Turns out I'm quite good at graphic art and creating jingles! It pays well enough.

On the love front, not doing so well there either.  My first boyfriend cheated on me with my best friend (cliché or what?) and my second boyfriend decided that we needed some 'alone' time, which basically translated into him dating other girls whilst I sat at home. That ended that.

So now I have my good job at the agency, a small but very comfortable apartment which I rent, it's close to the office but also close to a lovely park and below we have a café, restaurant and a 7/11. I am always on the phone to my brothers or parents and we all meet up every second month for a big family Sunday lunch, alternating between us all. What more could a girl ask for.
