After a 10 minute walk I finally made it back to the Howard house. "I'm back." I said while walking inside Lexi and Cassie's room. I took Maddie's gum out from the bag and handed it to her. "Did you see your boyfriend today?" she asked as she was straightening her hair. I laughed. "No I saw Fez today if that's who you're referring to." I took out my bag of airheads and opened the cherry flavored one first. "Damn Vic, I didn't know you were into the drug dealer type." BB said. "Yeah, me either but If It meant I got plugged for free every time I would." Kat added. I was amused by the way the girls reacted to my encounter with Fez every time. No one knew besides Maddy that I did see him attractive but I don't think I would ever want to risk our friendship. It meant a lot to me.

You know how I said that Maddy wanted me to experience love? well the minute I told her I found Fez attractive she wanted to persuade me to make the first move on him. She knew I wasn't the dating type nor the boyfriend type but I love that shes coming from a place of care. She just wants me to be happy. I Just know that Fez and I would never reach that level. On top of that I've heard him say the same thing to Rue once. How his business was his top priority and he'd never mix his girl with his business since it was too risky. I understood what he was trying to say and Rue being Rue told Fez that it was for the best considering the fact that he only had space for her in his life and that she couldn't share the treatment of receiving free drugs with another girl.

"Oh yeah, by the way McKay just texted me that he's having a party tonight. So we're all going." Cassie said which snapped me out of my thoughts. "Oh Yeah? What time?" I asked. "He said it starts at 8:00 tonight." she responded. "Then That's my cue to go back home and get ready." I said while standing up from the sofa in their room. "Um yeah no I'm gonna dress you up for tonight." I looked at Maddy as she was putting blush on. "Yeah? Why are you dressing me this time?" I asked her. she turned the vanity chair towards me and grabbed the hair straightner. "You know why, V it's going to be my mission to get you with Fez even if it means I gotta put in extra work. You're welcome." Maddy smiled while straightening a strand of her hair. I laughed. "You know we're hanging out Saturday right?" I said. Everyone's heads snapped up immediately and looked at me. "You're going on a date with Fezco?" Kat asked. "Not a date, we're just hanging out." I said while opening another airhead. BB inhaled her vape pen. "You do know it's considered a date when it's just you two hanging out right? especially if y'all go out and grub at a place and in public. At that point you're letting others know you're fucking" Kat said. "And who told you this considering the fact you don't even date or have even fucked?" Maddy told Kat. "Mads be nice." I told her.

"No but in all honesty If Fez wasn't into you He wouldn't be taking you out. I mean tell me when have you ever heard a girl around here say Fez asked her to hang out even just as friends?" Cassie asked. Everyone around the room looked at each other. "She does have a point there." Lexi said. I started chuckling. "And you know V there's nothing wrong with dating or experiencing love. I know it's a risky thing for you but at the end of the day We all deserve to feel it and you most of all." Cassie finished. I smiled. "Thanks Cassie, Don't get me wrong love is a very sacred and beautiful thing but I'm just scared and Fez is a great Guy and a great friend I would hate to jeopardize our friendship. It's just I've heard him say he'd never want to mix his business with his personal life and I respect it and understand it as well. I don't know, If me and him ever happen and if there is a chance I would want it to happen naturally. No force just us slowly falling into place." I said while looking at them.

I could see Maddy smiling from the vanity mirror. "Bitch He'd be stupid not to give you a chance. but enough with the chitchat we have to get you ready. I brought my gym bags with a lot of options for you to wear." Maddy said while opening one and pulling out clothes. "I'm gonna lay you something out."

As time went on the girls all got ready meanwhile Maddy helped me get ready for tonight's party. I always loved when Maddy did my makeup and when she would choose my outfits. I think she had the best taste in clothing out of all the girls in our group, and I think we all can agree on that. After what felt like an eternity she had finally finished on my hair and makeup. "all done." she said. She grabbed the nearest mirror and handed it to me. I looked at myself and loved it immediately. "You really have a gift Mads, you need to be my personal makeup artist for all events I have coming up." She smiled and chuckled. "You need to give me a few more years and I promise I'll be more pro when it comes to this shit. I'll be so good you'll see me working with Kehlani, Jhene, and Sza." "period." I responded. "I know We're not there yet but when you leave for school In New York I'm gonna miss you but I know when you come back everyone will wanting to wear you." I said. "Bitch they'll be begging to be me." we both laughed. Typical Maddy. "Alright bitches, we have to go soon. It's almost 8:30." Maddy said. I grabbed my bag and my phone off of Lexi's nightstand and quickly texted my mom that I was spending the night at Lexi's since she was working a graveyard shift at the hospital. My phone dinged quickly and seen she responded with an "Okay. I love you!" I hearted her message and waited for all the girls to grab their belongings and we were all out the door.

Maddy was DD this time. Cassie decided to take her own car since she was most likely sleeping over at McKay's house after the party and so Lexi decided to ride with Cassie so she wouldn't be driving alone. I sat in the back seat with BB and Kat sat up front in the passengers seat. As Mad's started driving we drove by Fez's store and Kat's voice snapped me out of my thoughts when she seen Rue walking on the side.

"Is that-"Maddy cut off. "Yoo that's Rue!" Kat exclaimed. "Didn't Rue like die?" At this point I turned to look at the girls. BB was shifting in her seat uncomfortably with her eyes wide open still hitting her vape pen. "Oh my God, I hate ghosts." I looked at her and laughed. I put my window down and peeked my head out. "Yo Casper! want a ride?" I said loudly enough to get Rue's attention. She stopped dead in her tracks and turned around. Once she seen me she walked towards the car. "Why Thank you." I smiled. Rue opened the door and she climbed in. So it was BB, Me,and Rue in the back. I gave her a hug which she returned. "Fez told me you were out! I was waiting to see when I would see you again." Rue chuckled. "I know I missed you too. You look so glowy and pretty tonight." I smiled. "Thanks Rue. You honestly look great tonight too." she smiled and playfully shoved me. "Yeah rehab did me good." "Alright! enough with the sad shit turn that sit up." BB said. Maddy turned up the music and Cocky Af by Megan Thee Stallion was blasting through the speakers. BB brought out a Bottle of Don Julio and we were all taking turns taking shots. As Maddie was driving we were all turning up in the car including Rue. It got to the point where we pre-gamed too good that the girls hyped me up and I Began to twerk In the back seat. The car was filled with everyone screaming the lyrics and hyping eachother up. With this energy, I knew it was going to be a good night tonight.
