Paridhi's POV:

"bhabhi please na" Vedika said in a pleading tone.
"Vedika but I can't give you permission for this. I'm really sorry" caressing her hair I made her understand but looking at her sad face I couldn't help but say "okay I'll try talking to your bhai"

Vedika wants to go for clubbing with her friends also to meet her crush that she mentioned last time. Dad is already in village and day before yesterday mom too went there, and now it's just me, Rishabh and Vedika at home. Vedika is 9 years younger than Rishabh, they have quite a big age gap and so he treats her like a child more than a sibling. She's very much pampered in the house but late night outings and stays are completely prohibited. I can understand her thou, I couldn't enjoy like many of my peers did and I did felt left out. So now I'll somehow have to convince Rishabh to give her the permission.

"thank you so much Bhabhi, you're the best" saying she pulled me in a hug.

"No Paridhi, my decision is final".
"Rishabh please na, Vedika even told me that y'all know Isha and Akriti since their childhood, then what's the problem. She also promised me she will be back by 11"
"Paridhi that does change the fact that Vedika would be staying out. I don't understand this why these GenZ kids have to party in clubs."
"Come on Rishabh, this is her age to enjoy let her be. All her friends are going, when they will be talking about the fun they had and sharing pictures of the fun time they spend think how left out Vedika will feel. It doesn't matter if it's too GenZ for you, what matters is we don't want Vedika to miss the best years of her life".
"Paridhi, tell her if she wants to enjoy so much then can stay all evening with her friends but night outs and clubbing are not happening and that's final. I don't want us to have unnecessary fight because of this silly reason. I'm getting late for office so just hurry up"

My man-child turned into Daddy mode and so I decided to drop the topic for now.

"If you think taking me out on dinner is going to make me feel any better than you're absolutely wrong bhai!" Vedika said grumpyly

Rishabh think Vedika is a 10 year old, if you give a remote control car they are going to forget about going to disney land. Like seriously?

Ignoring her words Rishabh called out for waiter and placed our order.

"Agar me bhabhi ko sath leke jau toh?" Vedika asked sheepishly and my eyes widened. I nodded her a no but she pleaded me with her eyes and Rishabh watched us with his hands crossed.

Vedika turned facing towards Rishabh and raised her eyebrows. "Still no!" He replied and I shrugged my shoulders.

"I swear Bhabhi, agar aap meri sister hoti toh kitna acha hota! Hum sath me shopping karte, sath me books ki batein karte and sath me clubbing bhi karte and humme koi tokta bhi nahi" Vedika taunted Rishabh. Her eyes were directed towards me but each word was for her dear brother.

"Sorry sweet sister lekin iss janam iss Khadoos se hi aap dono ko bhi kaam chalana hai" Rishabh said to Vedika and cornering his eyes at me. He definitely heard us this morning when Vedika called him khadoos and I laughed. Opps.

"Arey toh aap bhi aajao yaar bhai. Bass muzhe apne doston ke sath Jane do" Vedika said in a pleading frustration.

"Theeke" that's all Rishabh said and both my and Vedika's eyes widened.

"You mean you're giving me permission?"
"Yes, and I also mean that I'll be around you"
Confused and shocked both me and Vedika could only utter "Hein??"
"Hein! Abhi tune hi Kaha na, 'arey toh app bhi aajao bhai' toh bass I'll also come so that na muzhe tension hogi Teri aur na hi tuzhe tere doston ki tension hogi" He turned his face towards me and asked "Happy?" With a huge smile.

I looked at Vedika, disappointment clear on her face, both of us sighed at the same time and raised eyebrows at each other asking silently "ab kya?"
