Miyra hadn't returned to sleep in her room for the following two days. Until she was sick of Leah's pleas and decided it was best that she finally slept in her own room instead of continuing to interrupt Alessia's and Leah's sleep.

That night, after dinner. She opened the door to her hotel room. Catching Lucy, per usual, sitting on her bed, her eyes glued to her phone.

Plum jumped up from Lucy's lap, catching her mother wanting into the room. She walked to the edge of the bed. Meowing at Miyra to pick her up, which the girl did.

"You know, you're not a very good cat mother" Lucy spoke up, yet her eyes didn't move from her illuminating phone screen "you left them for days, alone."

"Correction; I left them for days, with you." Miyra replied. Pointing at the filled cat bowls behind them "cause you still take care of them."

Lucy scoffed, looking at the other girl "I'm not gonna let them starve Miyra."

"I know" Miyra nodded her head "it's why I do it."

She placed Plum with the two orange cats sleeping on her bed before opening up her suitcase. Pulling out a pair of Arsenal training shorts and a oversized white shirt.

When she stood back up, she stumbled towards her bed. Holding onto the furniture to stabilise herself while her other hand flew towards her heart. The action not going unnoticed by the other girl.

Lucy sat up further on her bed. She was used to the stumbles. Miyra had always experienced heart problems from when she was a teenager. Lucy always told her to get it checked out yet Miyra brushed it off, claiming it to be some simple heartburn. Nothing too much to worry about.

Except, a month before Miyra had walked out of their relationship. She finally caved in and went to the hospital about it, where they performed multiple tests and said they would get back to her. Miyra was gone before Lucy could find out the answers.

Lucy didn't speak a word though. She watched Miyra stand back up and shake it off like nothing happened. Walking into the bathroom to get changed into comfy clothes before walking back out.

"You good?" Lucy finally questioned.

Miyra didn't reply, she instead went back to her suitcase. Pulling out a packet of pills. She popped two out from the silver cover. Swollowing them with the help of water.

"Do they make you less of a bitch?" Lucy asked

Miyra couldn't hold back a small giggle at her words "sadly no, but they do keep me alive. Some would say that's on the plus side."

"I wouldn't"

Miyra smiled. Pulling her blanket over her body "thanks Luce."

The English girls had lost the game, Australia had grasped onto a 2-0 win. Charli Grant and Sam Kerr being the goal scorers from their country.

It was a friendlys match, meaning it didn't impact the World Cup. But it did put a small sprain on their confidence. They were lacking majorly in certain areas, it was obvious who were able to make that large impact. The girls that sat benched away with injuries.

The girls collected their belongings and left the field upset from their play. They scattered into the bus, each to their own, sitting quietly away. Miyra was beyond exhausted, although she hadn't played. The lack of sleep was catching up to her quickly.

The girl sat towards the end of the bus, she let her eyes close for only a few moments before she felt the material of a large jacket being thrown over her. Miyras eyes snapped open, catching Lucy slide into the spot next to her.
