(Riya pov)
I looked out through my window and see autumn leaves falling to the ground. The breeze trying to tickle them off the ground. The air is fresh. This brought a warm smile on my face.
"Riya"
I turned around to my brother. He was calling from the kitchen.I was at my desk in my room reading 'beautiful chaos'.
"Riya Leigh Winston. Do you hear me? "
"Did you call for me Sir. Christopher Edward Winston? " I shouted back as I walked towards the smell of waffles and honey.
"Ahh. Dear brother, aren't you the best? Making waffles for ur sister I see. "
He turned around with a towel in his hand so annoyed for some reason.
"Is that my freaking brown sweater you are wearing?"And I annoyed him more. Amazing!
" We bought it for me dummy. It's mine. " I said taking a bite of the waffle in front of me. I got to admit he is a really good cook. Cooking has been my brothers passion since his childhood. He almost does all the cooking for both of us. I am 20 and Chris is 23 .. almost like 24.It's been only us since our parents died in a road accident.Oh.I have my friend Jenn. We weren't the 'friends from childhood' 'besties forever' 'from cradle to grave' kind of friends.We met at middle school but got along years after that and the again fought badly and got back again at the end of college.Chris has a bunch of friends from college.
"What are you doing? Those are not for you Ri. Camille is coming over. Did ur dumb brain think I woke up and decided to make you waffles with honey while u are buried in your book all day? No idiot"
He sighed. I did the eye rolling contribution.
Camille is his girlfriend whom he is head over heels for. The've been together for a couple months now.
"Uhmm.They do taste good. Anyway I am leaving now so.. Bye bye big brother" I said as I walked away to my room.
"These are for Camille" I giggled imitating him as I walked away.
I got ready. Nothing much just grabbed my keys , phone and my bag.
As Chris opened the door for Camille, I joined in for the greeting and bidding bye to both of them.
I got into my car. Played one direction and started driving in no particular direction. I just wanted to feel the wind and the sunset.
