Intimidating .

Can a person be intimidating and comfortable at the same time. I shouldn't be saying this. I know I shouldn't.

Edward let out a little laugh.

"What? "

"You must be the bear eating me Riya. Why are you staring ta me like that? "

I was too lost in thoughts through his eyes and of course he took this opportunity to tease me. He was the one savouring me. The irony, it wasn't funny.

"Fine.Got your message. I wasn't planning on it anyway. Goodnight bear. "

"Goodnight" My voice hardly managed out of my throat.I went to my room, got into my pyjamas, went to the balcony. Why ? I don't know. I saw him, still pacing in the entrance of my hotel. He had not left. He was on call or trying to call someone.

"Not many bears on the radar yet?"

"There is, a surprise to mankind. This bear could speak. "

"Oh shut up. It is cold Edward. When's your ride? Do you wanna come up till then? "

"My Lord has shown mercy. "

Will he ever stop teasing me. That's what we ever did. Teasing. Eyes or words. There was no stress in being around Edward. We straight jumped into the friendly teasing stage. At the same time,there was tension in the air whenever we were in the same room.

Contradictory but true.

"Fine then. Goodnight. "

"I am coming up. Please hold the door. "

He walked in and I was on the phone with Chris.

"I am fine. Don't worry. Yes I went to the party. No I didn't drink. Yes I am back at my hotel. Now bye Chris.Go to sleep for God's sake. I am alright. " I hung up immediately.

"Chris? "He interrogated with a stern voice while removing his shoes.

" Hello Riya. Thankyou for inviting me. " I made my sarcasm loud and clear.

"Hello Riya. Thankyou for inviting me. " He imitated.

"Funny enough Mr. Cutler. "

"You are never gonna let that day down,are you?" We sat on the couch.I sat on the couch and he followed closely. Our arms stuck close as we sat. Neither of us seemed to mind nor seemed to show.
"How much did I embarrass myself that night? "

"Not much"

"Good enough for a spoiled rat? "

"I am sorry I said that. I didn't kno-"

"Hah.. It's fine. Actually, thankyou. My sister said you took good care of me. " He placed his arms on the couch behind my neck and crossed one leg on his other. That way his knees lay a little on mine.

Not a flinch. I am mastering this act.

"Hello? " He snapped. He caught me zoned out for a second. Maybe not mastering enough.

" No Edward, Benk took care of you. I was just there for a potato hunt. "

"God" Edward hit his hand on the forehead,covering his eyes. "Can we leave the potatoes to rest please?"

"When is your ride arriving? "

" You are not such good host Winston. "

"Come on Edward."

"Stop these games. We both are grown ups. "
