The trip was in less than a week. Time flew fast but nothing much changed. Ophelia still had the same problems. Her life was just as miserable and she did everything to try and save it. Nothing helped much.

The trip was going to be a big one. There were 5 buses prepared for the students. It will take 13 hours to get there but it will be fun. At least that's what Ivy told her.

They were leaving Thursday night so that they would arrive the next morning and explore right away. It sounded tiring.Ivy heard that their class was sharing a bus with juniors, so a year older.

Philomena told her that Juniors weren't bad and that she could find someone to date. For some reason, Summer told her the same thing. Ophelia didn't want a boyfriend, especially not a junior from her school. She had neither the time nor the patience to date someone.

Thursday rolled around and she was so excited to go away for a while. Her parents were still mad at her and Coach Gael never really acknowledged the thing that happened. He just stayed quiet and did his job like he normally would. He didn't mention anything but Ophelia saw how he looked at her.

Ophelia arrived at the meeting point for the buses. There were so many people. She tried finding Ivy but gave up pretty soon. Her bus was standing by the end. Leaving her luggage she saw Ivy. They went on the bus and realized most seats were already taken. They chose the first empty one, by the end of the bus. Getting comfortable in such a small space was changing but after a few minutes, they managed to do it.

"Would you lot move? I believe it would be hard sitting in the middle of seniors." Said a man's voice behind Ivy.

It was a boy with dark short hair and light skin. He looked pretty skinny and didn't seem very happy. In her mind, Ophelia pictured him as a vampire because he looked like Edward Cullen's long-lost brother.

"Yeah, I believe you wouldn't make it out alive." Said a boy next to the vampire one.
"Why would we move? We sat here first." Ivy answered the two boys.
"Well, it doesn't seem really great. Wouldn't you like to be closer to your grade?" The vampire boy spoke.

Ophelia and Ivy shared a glance. They didn't plan to communicate with anyone other than themselves. It was true that they were in the middle of juniors but they didn't really care.

"No, not really. Now please leave us alone." Ophelia said sharply turning back around.

But that didn't stop the two boys. They started making weird noises and it drove Ivy mad. She turned around again, looking straight into the vampire boy's eyes. He said nothing and only continued with making noises. Ophelia was ready to fight.

Soon they started making comments about the two girls and Ophelia was done. She didn't have the energy for this shit. She turned around, looked at the vampire boy's eyes, and waited for him to stop talking.

"Would you at least like to change seats with us?" He spoke at her giving her a rather disturbing smirk.

Ophelia and Ivy gave up and changed their seats. Now the two boys sat in front of them. They wouldn't care much but the space was so crowded it seemed like they were sitting in each other's laps.

The ride began and for the first hour, most students chatted. After that, the lights went off and people started to fall asleep.Ophelia and Ivy continued to chat in a whisper and the two boys in front seemed to listen in on their conversation.

"Uh Ivy, smile for the camera." Vampire boy said holding up his phone at Ivy. He called her by her first name even though she hadn't introduced herself. It felt creepy and just wrong.

Ivy showed him the middle finger and he acted offended.

The other boy listened to music and stayed calm.

After some more chatting both girls decided to sleep. That didn't end well because neither got any sleep. It was impossible to get in a comfortable position but they kept trying.

The two boys also seemed to be awake. They started talking with each order and Ophelia listened to their conversation. She still wanted to sleep but if one plan wasn't going to work the other will.

"...and she said that being named Axel doesn't have any privileges..." Ophelia heard the vampire boy say to his friend.

So his name was Axel.

She went to her phone wanting to find his full name. Ophelia knew a girl from the junior class and with a little detective work found Axel's Instagram account. His full name was Axel Nielson. Ophelia cringed at the name. His name didn't match his face at all. His parents should have named him Carlisle because he looks like his son.She took a screenshot of the account and sent it to Ivy who was sleeping or at least trying.

"Oh Demien how could you..." Bingo.

Axel said the first part and started laughing at his friend. He just told her his name. After another minute of searching an Instagram account could be seen. The name Demien Shepperson read on the screen and Ophelia stared at the profile picture for a little too long.

Demien actually looked decent. He didn't look like his ancestors were aliens or something similar.

His hair was dark just like Axel's. He smiled more and liked to show his teeth. His smile was pretty. His personality seemed nicer as well as his fashion sense. Axel looked like he was coming from a 2000s stile funeral and it didn't fit him at all. Demien at least looked half decent in a Christmas sweater and jeans.

Ophelia stopped herself after she realized how long she had been thinking about the two annoying boys. She went back to her slumber attempt and forgot about the two aliens in front of her. Little did she know that they were the beginning of something, something unexpected.
