Arriving at the hotel felt like a reward

Arriving at the hotel felt like a reward. The soft bed and the warm colours in the room looked really appealing.

Ivy and Ophelia decided to wait for the dinner before showering. Both girls felt dirty from all the sitting on the bus and walking around.

It started to rain and the weather forecast said that it would rain for their whole stay. The girls were sad they weren't going to see the city in its true light, but it wasn't up to them.

Dinner came and went. The food was alright but the hotel was kind of confusing. They had two cantinees. So navigating around was harder than it looked. The elevators were also super slow and looked like they needed to be repaired.

Finally, the two girls showered and put on their pajamas. They laid in bed and talked. Ivy called her parents and Ophelia debated if she should too.

She gave in and called her mother.

"Hi. I'm calling to say we arrived and that everything is ok." Ophelia said after her mother picked up.
"Good, good. Have a nice trip and text me about everything." Her mother answered and after a few more minutes the call ended.

Ophelia was glad her mother was in a good mood. Probably because she wasn't at home to bother her.

The two girls talked till late at night and fell asleep at an unknown time.

They woke up early in the morning to have enough time to get ready.

Picking an outfit, doing their hair, and putting on jewelry. After all that they were on the way to breakfast.

Turns out, no one was awake this early and they were the only ones out of their classmates to have breakfast.

They didn't mind. The food was exceptionally good and the staff was amazing. After they ate, more gossiping sounded good. Having spare time on their hand and no real activities, gossiping was the only thing they could think of.

The day began later in the morning. The students gather on the bus, waiting to visit the first tourist destination. The guide talked on the speakers about the historic importance and no student actually listened. Most of them were talking about the first night in the city and their plans for the next time they were free.

Ivy and Ophelia sat in their seats, looking out of the window to the beautiful city. Suddenly the two gnomes in front of them turned around.

"What did you lot do last night?" Axel asked after he turned to the girls.
"Did you like the dinner?" Demien joined.
"We liked the dinner. Didn't you?" Ivy answered in a calmer tone than usual.
"It was alright. Nothing too amazing." Axel answered her question with pride.
"We didn't do much after dinner. You?" Ophelia answered the other question. Her tone is also much calmer towards the boys.
"We drank some alcohol Mykel brought. It wasn't that good but what can you do?" Axel shrugged.

Of course, the boys drank. They looked like that one uncle who lived in the middle of nowhere and drank three cans of bear a day and smoked at least two packs.

Demien looked like he wanted to talk more but was stopped when the bus stopped moving. They arrived at their destination.

The day went on pretty slowly. The places they visited felt so surreal to Ophelia. She loved everything except the walking and the talking to the two aliens.

The day ended with a night out in the city. The girls didn't so much. Got some sweets and coffee and decided to call it a good night out. The beds in the hotel room called for a deep slumber.

The next day started the same, and so did all the days. The girls loved all the sightseeing and the food they ate. Everything was perfect, but one thing wasn't. All the talking with the two boys in front. Every time they were inside the bus, the two boys wanted to talk. It was the most random topics ever but the girls answered the questions that were being thrown at them.

It all went downhill the day they were going home.

The boys didn't hesitate to annoy the girls with talking, loud music, and pulling their chairs down. By the end of the first 5 hours of driving Ophelia wanted to murder one of them. She was having none of it. Her mind goes back to reality and remembers what she has to face when she comes home.

Ivy fell asleep next to her. Demien pulled his seat down and Ophelia had enough. She took her water bottle and hit him on the head.

"What the hell?!" Demien whispered aggressively.
"Respect my personal space and I will be sunshine and rainbows." Ophelia gritted her teeth.
Demien obeyed, sensing the anger of the younger.

The whole drive was a nightmare. Ophelia lost her temper a number of times and threw multiple insults at the boys. Ivy wasn't much better. By the end of the drive, the girls wanted to never speak to the two boys. Oh, how that turned out...
