Miguel had told you everything about starting a dojo and you weren't that happy about it because you didn't want him to get hurt, but you were also a bit glad to know that he could learn to defend him self if anything happens.
You woke up in the morning to get ready for your first day at your new school, you did a natural makeup look and looked in your drawers for some clothes. You get dressed and went into the living room to see your mum and Miguel. "Morning" your mum said and you smiled and said it back.

You and Miguel walked into the school looking around before heading to your first class. Nothing special happened in your classes, no one really payed attention to you or Miguel so it was good.
At lunch you and Miguel looked around the cafeteria for places to sit when Miguel walked up to these two boys. You followed behind him. "Is it cool if we sit here?" Miguel asked "Sorry, tables really blowing up right now. I can put you on the waitlist, but it's probably next semester at the earliest." Miguel said ok and went to walk away but the boy said "No I'm kidding, sit." You and Miguel said down. You looked at both of the boys, one had dark brown hair with a white/ orange checkered shirt on, the other one was cute, he had light brown hair with a brown, patterned jumper on, he also had a scar on his lip. "Miguel, Harmony" Miguel said as he pointed to you, you just smiled at them both. "Demetri, this is Eli." The dark haired boy said. Eli didn't say anything. "He's a man of a few words" Demetri said.
Two girls walked past as you and Miguel watched them. The blonde girl looked at you and gave you a dirty look so you gave her one back, the brunette girl smiled at you while giving you a 'sorry' look, you just smiled at her. "Dude, don't torture yourself. Those are the rich girls" Demetri said to Miguel. "Do you ever talk to them or" Miguel asked "Oh yeah, all the time. We hang out after school, make out, give each other hand jobs." Demetri joked as Miguel sighed. "Eli here is homecoming king, gets laid more than anyone. Isn't that right Eli?" Eli smiled "Talk to them? You realise what table you're sitting at, right? You've pretty much signed away all hopes of losing your virginity before college." He continued "oh shit, Yasmines looking at us, probably just making fun of me." Eli said, I felt bad. "I don't think she's making fun of you, I mean just because there hot doesn't mean they're mean." Miguel said. Me and Demetri just looked at Miguel. "Oh my God, you guys. You see that guy over there who looks like he went down on a lawnmower. He's literally wearing the ugliest sweater I've ever seen." Eli covered up his lip and my heart sunk, I felt so bad for him. The blonde girl, I'm guessing she was Yasmine kept making fun of people.
"I don't care if Yasmine is the meanest girl in school. I'd kill all 3 of you just to get her to spit in my face." "Well if you never make a move, you'll never have a shot." Miguel said "True, but I'll also never suffer a humiliating rejection. I'm at peace with my depression. That last thing I need is to be suicidal." Demetri stated. Miguel stood up and demetri asked what he was doing "striking first" Miguel replied "oh shit. Hope we don't get hit with the shrapnel." Demetri said. Miguel started walking over to the girls. I put my head in my hands, not wanting to get second hand embarrassment from my brother. Luckily, before he got there, some boys went up to the girls and sat down. Miguel just turned around and walked back to us. "So, howd it go?" Demetri asked
At the end of the day me and Miguel were walking home when he told me that he was going to the dojo to train so I had to walk the rest of the way home by myself.
