it's the day of the all valley tournament and daryl gave his speech about all of the dojos then you and the rest of eagle fang ran out onto the stage. you saw hawk with miyagi- do and you smiled at him, he smiled back. johnny had started talking to everyone and then it was time for the skills competition.
by the end of the skills competition, eagle fang were at sixth place. "how the hell are we at sixth place?!" johnny said. "the skills events are weighed differently. gold medals are ten points, silver-" devon started but johnny interrupted her. "i don't give a shit about the math, what do we need to beat cobra kai?" johnny said. "uh, math" you said. "to catch up on points, we need to win as many matches in the qualifying rounds as possible. the further we get, the tighter the vice around cobra kai's metaphorical balls." devon added. "okay. good, now you're speaking my language." johnny said.
"ladies and gentlemen, the male and female division qualifiers are about to begin. and with them, we enter a new era! that's why we need a very special guest to kick things off. let's give a big all valley welcome to multi-grammy award winning international superstar, carrie underwood!" ron said and everyone started cheering.
"hello all valley! i am so honoured to be here. i didn't see a lot of karate growing up in olkahoma, but you guys know i love to compete, just like these wonderful young men and young women. one thing i have learned is that everyone gets their shot, their chance in the spotlight. everyone gets their moment. this one's yours." carrie says then she begins to sing a song.
it was time for the boys and girls match and it was you against tory and the score was 2-2 and then she hit you when it was out, but she still got the point. she won the match and you were not happy. johnny told you not to worry
it's the semi finals and miguel haw to fight eli. they are fighting then miguel jumps and goes to kick eli but you hear a crack and he falls to the ground. "miguel!" you yell and you and johnny run up to him.
good news, it's only a pulled muscle and he was give 30 mins to recover. you stayed with miguel while he made his decision and he told you to go back to johnny then meet him out back in 45 minutes but don't tell anyone.
since miguel didn't show up for his fight, eli automatically got the win, which means he had to fight robby. you stayed long enough to see the fight between robby and eli. eli won, right after he won, you went over to him and told him congratulations, then you went to meet miguel.
"we're going to mexico, get changed." miguel said and your eyes widened. "what?!" you said. "we're gonna go find our dad" you looked at him confused then you argue about it for a few mins until you give in. you quickly stop off home while miguel writes a note for your mum and you quickly pack a few things for you both.
once miguel finishes the note, you both head out to the bus stop.

you and miguel get on the bus and sit down. "i'm kinda scared" you say and miguel agrees. you both get off the bus when you get to mexico and you both try to get wifi service.
a man comes up to you both and says "oi, you need some help mate?" miguel says "uh, yeah, yeah i'd love some help. my phones out of service. do you think you can help me get to 137 avenue santurce?" miguel says. "oh! you're in luck. i can show ya." the man replies and pulls out a map. you and miguel both thank him.
the man shows you both where to go and is about to hand miguel the map. "actually, you don't mind giving me so pesos, do you? just cause it's my map and all" miguel says yeah and asks how much. the man says 5 bucks and miguel gives him the money then we are about to leave. "how much do you want to pay for the bag?" the man adds. "the bag?" you ask and one of the men hold up miguel backpack.
"are you serious?" you ask. "give me my bag back" miguel says and the man refuses. he takes miguel wallet and takes some money out then gives the wallet back. he gives the bag to you and you both walk off. "dick" you say when you are out of ear range from them.
you and miguel make it to this place called castillo escomido and you walk in. you hear someone say the name hector, which is your dads name so you tell miguel and he starts walking to them. you follow him. you both walk into the room and the men start catcalling you in spanish until one of the men says. "no te había visto por aquí antes" (i haven't seen you around here before.) miguel replies with "acabamos de llegar a la ciudad. nuestros nombres son miguel y armonía... diaz" (we just got into town. our names are miguel and harmony... diaz.) the man replies "bueno entonces es un placer conocerte miguelito y armonía" (well then it's a pleasure to meet you miguelito and harmony.)
"nuestra madre es carmen diaz" (our mother is carmen diaz) you say. the man looks at his cards and says "si tu madre se parece a ti, es sexy" (if your mother looks like you, she's hot) you and miguel roll your eyes and some of the men laugh. "ella es de ecuador" (she's from ecuador) miguel says. the man looks are you both.
"¿qué es esto? ¿les pasa algo en la cabeza? pueblo, saca a esta gente de aquí." (what is this? is something wrong with your heads? pueblo, get these people out of here.)
one of the men grabs miguel shoulder, miguel grabs his hand and twists his arm back. "eres el valiente miguelin, ¿quieres una cerveza?" (you're brave miguelin, want a beer?" the man sitting down asks. "queremos respuestas. carmen y rosa diaz. lo sabías cuando vivías en guayaquil." (we want answers. carmen and rosa diaz. you knew when you lived in guayaquil) miguel says.
the man laughs and says "el tipo se cree el jefe. mira, no so el chico que estás buscando. y, sinceramente, nunca he conocido a una jodida carmen. ahora si ambos no se van a la mierda, todos estos tipos que ven aquí los van a dar una paliza a los dos. así que vete al maldito infierno." (dude thinks he's the boss. look, i'm not the guy you're looking for. and honestly, i've never known a fucking carmen. now if you don't fuck off, all these guys you see here are going to beat the shit out of both of you. so go to fucking hell.) you and miguel both apologise and leave.
sam calls sam and you call eli. he's answers the phone and says "harmony?! where are you?" "i'm in ecuador with miguel, we're trying to find our dad" you say then eli says about how dangerous it is but you tell him that you are fine. you end the phone call and see miguel look at a man weirdly.
"what?" you ask. he doesn't say anything, he follows this man to a birthday party and you see him with a young child. "is that him?" you and and miguel nods. the little boy kicks the ball over to miguel. miguel gives the ball back and you hear somone yell "louis!" and the boy runs away.
you and miguel follow your dad the little boy and the little boys mum. the boy, who you guess is your little brother, kicks his ball into the road and runs into the road to get it when a car is coming. you and miguel run out into the road and you pick up the boy and take him out of the road. the man looks and you and miguel and thanks you.
the man asks where your accent is from and miguel says you're american. the little boys mum asks you and miguel to have dinner with them. "i'm hector, salazar" your dad says and he shakes yours and miguel's hand. "we're miguel and harmony" he says. "i feel like we've met somewhere before" your dad says and you and miguel smile. "i don't think we have" miguel says. "well, maybe you're a stranger, but tonight, you're family." you and miguel smile and start walking with them.
