A long time has passed and you and your mum were at the hospital because Miguel had woken up. You had spent the last few weeks with him because you didn't want to be anywhere else. You didn't go to school or meet up with anyone, so you had no idea what was going on at school and stuff.
Miguel had his surgery got out of the hospital a week ago now but he was still in a a wheelchair, you and Johnny did everything you could to try and make him walk. You had also found out that Kreese took over the dojo.
Today, Johnny had taken Miguel to a concert, you didn't know how it would help him walk again but at least he got to have fun.
When Miguel and Johnny got home, they had told up that there was movement in his leg and that he could move his ankle, you and your mum were so happy.
You were with Johnny and Miguel at your house and you were looking for photos for Johnny's facebook. "Those are the only photos I have. Don't have much after high school." Johnny said "oh ok. Um. Do you have any where your wearing a shirt, maybe?." Miguel asked. Johnny passed him a photo of him pulling on his vest. "Uh, that's, um. You know we're probably better off going with some new photos" Miguel said and you nodded. "Yeah, like present day? Not sure I want you to grease me up right now. Baby oil gets over everything." Johnny said and you laughed. "I'm not gonna grease... I was just thinking maybe we could go with something more contemporary" Miguel said and Johnny snapped his fingers. "Yes! We'll look at what Ali's into, take pictures of me doing the same stuff." Johnny said. Miguel shook his head "that's not exactly what I meant" he said "I'm not going yoga. I will pet a dog. Think the aquarium will let me get in there with the dolphins? You know what? We could Fotomat it. All right. let's go, hot wheels. C'mon." Johnny said getting up, gesturing you to get up too.
You and Miguel spent the rest of the day taking pictures of Johnny. You were at a restaurant, Johnny went to wash his mouth out at you were sat with Miguel, when you saw Tory come over. She started talking to Miguel, so you said you were going to the toilet, so they could talk.
A few days later, you and Miguel decided to go back to school and you were getting ready in your room. You were a bit nervous to go back but you shook it off. After you got ready, you and Miguel left.

When you get there, people were cheering for Miguel and there was even a sign saying 'welcome back Miguel!' He smiled and said hi to people before you both headed to lesson. While you were walking, you heard "El serpiente!" You looked up and saw Hawk "what's up?" Miguel said and they fist bumped "welcome back, man" Hawk said "Feels good to be back" he replied "Hi harmony" Hawk said to you you just said hi and smiled, it was a bit awkward but it was ok. "They give you bionic legs or some shit?" Hawk asked. "No, same old boring human legs" Miguel replied. "Oh yeah? Can you throw down? Gotta defend that title. Gotta get through me first. Dude, Cobra Kai is crushing it right now" Hawk said, pretending to punch Miguel. "Uh, I've actually been meaning to talk to you about that" Miguel said, before the bell rang. "I'll talk to you about it at lunch." He continued. You and Miguel walked to your lesson and you saw Demetri. He had a cast on his arm. "Hey, the comeback kid! Welcome back. I hope to make a similar triumphant return to the land of the mobile appendage masses" Demetri said. "What's up with the cast?" Miguel asked "proximal radius fracture" He replied "It smells." Yasmine said, standing next to him. "I put a lemon rind down there to mitigate that. The invitation for you to sign it still stands." Demetri said to Yasmine. "Hard pass. At least when you used to be a thorn my tits, you were getting me an A in science. Now you can't even do that because your defective" she said, then walking off. "So, uh... how'd you break your arm?" You asked. "We've got a lot to catch up on" he said, looking at you and Miguel.
Demetri had told you and Miguel everything and you were both shocked. At lunch you and Miguel walked over to hawk "I heard what happened with Demetri. How could you do that?" Miguel said to him. Hawk looked at him and said. "You should be thanking me for getting revenge at Miyagi-Do. Besides they're the ones who started the fight. We finished it. You looked at him and you didn't even recognise him anymore, he was like a while different person. "That's not what our Sensei taught us." Miguel said. "He's not my Sensei anymore." Hawk said. "After everything he done for you, you betray him?" Miguel said "He betrayed us." Hawk said "What the fuck. How did he betray you?" You asked him. "Look this isn't you talking. It's Kreese he's got in you head. You can change that if you leave Cobra Kai and join Sensei Lawrence's now dojo. If you come, others will follow. Ok? We can show everyone we're not a bunch of bullies. It could be like before." Miguel said to hawk "he has a new dojo?" Hawk asked before he was interrupted by Kyler "Hey guys. Check this guy out Standing around with a dick on his hand." Everyone laughed and you felt bad for Demetri. "So these are your friends now?" Miguel said before you both walked off.
You and Miguel were at Miguel's locker, about to go to lesson when sensei Lawrence walks up to you both. "Sensei? How did you get through security?" Miguel asked "I went to high school here. You think I don't know all of the secret ways in and out? Hey, I got some good news. Found us a pretty sweet spot for our new dojo. How's the recruiting coming?" Sensei replied. Miguel looked down and walked off.
You shook your head at Johnny. "That bad?" He asked "It's just everything's changed Sensei. Cobra Kai, they've all drank the kool-aid" Miguel said "Kool-aid? What's wrong with Kool-aid?" Johnny asked. "it's just... Sensei Kreese is turning them into an army of assholes. There's no convincing them to leave." Miguel said.
Johnny started walking over to Cobra Kai. "Ok. Listen up. I screwed up. And I'm sorry. I made it about me. And that's not what a Sensei does. I took the easy way out. I gave up. What happened here at this school. It rocked me to my core. I couldn't look myself in the eye, let alone face all of you." Sensei said to all of them. "Yeah. I guess it makes it easier to tell yourself that. But the truth is, you bailed on us way before that fight happened. You got soft. And we paid the price." Hawk said and Sensei walked up to him. "Now, you listen up. When you came into my dojo you were softer than a baby's ass. I made you what you are, not Kreese. He doesn't give a shit about you. About any of you! So if you wanna keep whining about the past like a bunch of pussies, fine. We can play that game. Wanna stick with Kreese? Go ahead. Don't say I didn't warn you when you life ends up in the shitter. It you could sack up. And join my dojo. Havenhurst and Magnolia, tomorrow at 4:00. If you wanna save yourselves, train the right way... you better be there. And don't be late" Sensei said, walking off and hitting the books out of some kid's hand. "Sorry kid, old habit." He added
