The next morning, you woke up to Miguel shouting at you to get up and that you were late. You slowly got out of your bed, yawning and rubbing your eyes.
You did your usual morning routine and left the house with Miguel. "we need to hurry we have to be there in 10 minutes!" Miguel said, stressing. "Don't worry we'll get there in time" you said trying to calm him down.
When you got there, there were a few more people who had quit and to be honest, you weren't surprised. Sensei Lawrence walked out of his office, looking around "Three more absences, Sensei" Miguel told him "Bunch of pussies!" Aisha shouted, you just looked at her. "No, it's my fault. Since you've joined Cobra Kai, I have been hard on you. I've called you names. I've humiliated you. Some of you I've hit. And for that, I don't apologise. Cobra Kai is about strength. If your not strong enough on the inside, you can't be strong on the outside. And right now, you're all weak. And I know that because I was you. I used to have no friends. Used to be the weirdo kid. Not that weird. I still hooked up with babes and all, but the point is I wasn't always the badass Sensei I am today. Just like a cobra, I had to shed my loser skin, to find my true power. And you guys will too." Sensei said. Before he could continue, the shop bell rang and a guy with a blue Mohawk walked in. "Welcome to Cobra Kai" Sensei greeted him. I looked at the guy and my eyes widened, it was Eli. "Eli, what happened?" Miguel asked "I'm flipping the script." He replied. I smiled at him. "Wait, are you the kid with the lip? Nice cut, bro." Sensei said "You see that, doesn't matter if your a loser or a nerd or a freak. All that matters is that you become badass." Sensei continued, pointing at us. Eli smirked "hawk. Fall in." Sensei said. Eli/ hawk took off his shoes and stood next to me. "Fear does not exist in this dojo, does it?" Sensei asked "No Sensei!" hawk replied Sensei moved to stand next to Aisha "Pain does not exist in this dojo, does it?" he asked her "No Sensei" she replied. He then moved to stand in front of Miguel. "Defeat does not exist in this dojo, does it?" "No Sensei" Miguel said. Sensei then turned his back to us and looked in the mirror. "Class, are you ready to learn the way of the fist?" He asked "Yes Sensei" everyone shouted. Sensei smiles.
You turned to Eli and said "I like your hair" he smiled/ smirked at you and said "thanks" he looked into your eyes and you blushed then looked down, so he couldn't see. He chuckled then looked at you, you still looked away so he got back to doing his karate.
A few days later you were walking to school with Miguel and he was telling you about how he was going to ask out Sam. You were hoping she would say yes because it sounds like he really likes her and Miguel's never had a girlfriend before. You thought it was cute the way he would talk about her, he liked her personality.

When you got to school, Miguel saw Sam so he told you he'd see you later. You saw Hawk and Demetri, so you went over to them. "Hey harmony where's Miguel?" Demetri asked you "Hey he's gone to ask out Sam" you said "Wait really?" Hawk asked. You nodded your head, then the school bell rang. "Well I'm gonna head to class, bye guys" Demetri said, then he walked off. It was just you and Hawk now and you both had the same class, so you walked together "I like your outfit" he said to you. You smiled and blushed. "Thanks, I like yours too" you said he just said thanks.
You got to your class and you both walked in. Your teacher told you both to sit at the back, so you sat down then the teacher explained that there would be a science project that you have to complete with the person sitting next to you. "Do you wanna hang out after school to do the project?" Hawk asked you "Yeah sure, where?" You asked "Your house?" He asked "Sure I'll meet you at the door at the end of the day" you said to him. For the rest of the lesson you both just talked about random things, you were really starting to catch feelings for him.
At the end of the day you were walking home with Miguel and Hawk. Miguel was telling you both that he got a date with Sam, tomorrow after karate, but it wasn't a date technically. He was so excited, you and Hawk just laughed. When you got home, you and Hawk went to your room. You both sat down. "So, what should we do for the project?" You asked. You both had decided to do water electrolysis. You both went to the store to pick up some stuff for it and you'd decided that you would do the experiment tomorrow after karate.
