Red Rising, first book in the Red Rising series, is 382 pages spanning 44 chapters. It is a futuristic dystopian science fiction written in 2014. Originally meant to be a trilogy, the series has expanded into a series of 7 books by author Pierce Brown.
I have read Red Rising before and it changed my perspective of SciFi novels. I was intrigued by the cover and synopsis that I bought it a few years ago. It took me a little to get into (I am typically a fantasy reader), but it is a captivating story.
I want to continue reading the series so I decided to read book 1 again.
