Cal's POV:

The moment I stepped through the portal Momiji immediately ran towards me. "Cal!" she shouted before bombarding me with questions. "Is it over? Are they here? Why aren't they with you? What happened?? Where are my kids?!?!" As she rambled her face twisted with worry and concern and it was in that moment my mind decided to remind me of my rather sudden exit through the portal, backing away from the demigod in front of me because of the urgent tug I felt through my body that one of the kids needed me.

"Hey, hey, calm down" I say in an attempt to soothe her. "Everythings fine," (It Isn't) "It was just a check in with how things are going." (It wasn't, it was more than that). She sighed while running a hand down her face, she looked up after a moment to meet my gaze "What did they say?" she questioned tiredly. Shit. "I think it might be best if we sit down for this," I tell her, trying to drag it out "There's a lot to talk about." I know I can't hide this from her forever, I mean I don't even really know what's going on... but I can't keep her in the dark, she deserves to know what's happening. "Right, let's go inside." she says gesturing to her shine before walking towards it, though when I walked up the stairs into her home I wasn't expecting to see a certain red unicorn boy. "Ricarro?" I questioned in disbelief, and as soon as he heard my voice his head immediately snapped toward me.

"Cal!!" he shouted in surprise, bolting up off the cushion he was sitting on and rushing into me. He buried his face into my chest as he wrapped his arms around my stomach, his grip was so tight I was starting to run out of breath, though i didn't tell him that, instead I just raised my arms and hugged him back, resting my head on his. I could feel the warmth radiating off of him, it was nice, it reminded me of simpler times. "Are they back??" he asked excitedly as he pulled away from my grasp, forcing me out of my thoughts. Oh, that. "No," I say, and I could see his frown at those words, but rather than acknowledging it I instead moved past him into their living room area, taking a seat of one of the other cushions at the table that was tucked into the back of the room. "But they did have some news that I think you both might want to hear." i finish, trying to keep my voice as even as I could make it. I looked over to them both, They gave each other a worried look, seeming to have a silent conversation with each other before deciding to join me around the floor table.

"What happened?" Momiji asked softly, concern leaking from her tone. I looked down at my hands at the pure amount of love that bled into her words, gods, did I not want to have this conversation with them. I didn't have a choice though, so I just looked up and took a deep breath and said "The barrier has been broken," i started and i could see the horror in their eyes, "Your kids are in danger and i-" "They're WHAT!?!?".

I'm kinda back!!! School has been kicking my ass but I've got another chapter for u all:D
