Chapter One.

𝙰 𝙽𝚘𝚝 𝚂𝚘 𝙳𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚖𝚢 𝙴𝚗𝚌𝚘𝚞𝚗𝚝𝚎𝚛Running was starting to get tiring and your legs were starting to feel numb, but like hell you would stop.
Tree after tree, bush after bush, tear after tear. Your breathing was fast and your heart even faster.
How did it come to this when you was just starting to enjoy your life?
...It was a peaceful morning. The sea was clear and as calm as it could be, making you want to go treasure hunting.
You had treasure-hunted even when you were younger, but usually couldn't go to the beach since your parents hated going there.
Your treasure hunting was particular. You would search seashells, interesting pebbles and minerals, which were usually similar to quartz, and collect them. It was something so simple yet so beautiful that filled with warm your wounded heart.
Today was the perfect day, and since you had saved enough money in the past from now on this entire beach was your private property, only for yourself to enjoy.
Smelling the almost sweet scent of the sea in the air you took out two yellow buckets and changed in your (y/f/c) swimsuit.
You started searching on the beach, using one of the buckets to hold the trash the last owners left on it.
You found various seashells, smiling every time you saw one.
You hummed one of the song you listened to relax and walked around almost dancing. You were allowed to be childish at times, your old therapist told you that it would do you only good.
Your humming was interrupted when you heard almost silent whimpering. Mustering your courage your bleeding heart couldn't not worry for the whispering creature.
You walked towards the sound, not exactly slowly, but trying your best to keep quiet.
Once you arrived to your destination you froze. In front of you was what seemed to be an half-skeleton half-clownfish creature trapped in a net full of needles.
When the creature noticed you it growled before flinching at the pain of moving, you winced at the image before slowly going to your knees as a way to show it that you meant no harm.
The creature only glared at you as you slowly used your hands to untangle the net.
Feeling the pain of the moving needles the creature growled before biting one of your forearms.
You didn't react to the pain and slightly trembled as you continued using both of your hands to free it.
"Sorry..."
Only once he noticed both needles and net were off him he let go of your arm, making you let out a sigh of relief.
Checking for damage you noticed that even tho it was bleeding it didn't go too deep, making you even more relieved.
Raising your gaze once again you flinched once you made eye-contact with the face some inches away from you. When did it come so close!?
Its curious face shifted to a somewhat wicked smile, making you get out of whatever trance you got in when you stared into its beautiful eyes.
Realizing that you were in fact before a predator you scrambled to stand up. You took out some bandages before throwing them near him, successfully distracting him and giving you the chance to quickly run all the way back home.
You were more than aware of the eyes staring at your back as you did so.
