'Is It Good To You' by Heavy D and The Boyz was playing on the speaker. Me, Ralph, Whitney, Bobby, and his family were at their home in Atlanta, playing cards as the kids played around the house.

"Ooh, you finna get set," Whitney says as she looks at her cards.

"Who?" Bobby asks. "You," She pointed at him.

"Uh-uh." He looks back at his cards. "Not in this lifetime. I haven't set since I was three years old." Bobby states as he turns to Whitney.

"You have not played this since you were three years old." I narrowed my eyes at him then laughed.

"We start early in Boston." He states. I kissed my teeth before laughing. "Same for Oakland." I tilted my head. Bobby's parents laughed at our childishness.

While we were playing cards, I was on Ralph's lap as he was looking at my cards, I barely knew how to play and my baby just happens he does so he whispers to me how to play.

"What you looking at partner?" Whitney asked me while I looked at my cards.

"Maybe a four, and a possible, I think." I moved the cards in my hands.

"Hmm," Bobby sips his drink and sets it down then faces me. "Four and a possible?" He looks at me crazy.

"Girl, you've been underbidding all game, are you thinking about to-"

"I know what I'm doing, Bobby. This isn't my first time playing." I shrugged.

"Roni, this is your first time playing, and I know Rizz helping you," He looked at me and Ralph.

"He's not," I denied, but Bobby gave me a blank look. "You focus on your hand," I waved him off, causing Whitney to chuckle.

"Whatever, don't let him psych you out, girl," Whitney tells me.

"Girl, I ain't worried about him." I winked as I chuckled.

"Baby, you on my team." Bobby reminds her.

"Okay, Whitney, let's see what you got," I told her, shuffling my cards in my hand.

"Okay, so you want to bid, okay. Let me show you, let me show you, let me show you," She leaned forward a little. "Oh wait, I have to pee," She slammed her cards down and got off her seat.

"Wait, wait, that means you forfeit," I pointed at her.

"No, hell no!" She yelled. "Coop, come on, come play my hand, please?" Whitney asked her. Everyone was laughing as I told his sister that she couldn't for her.

"That's not fair, you know Coop can play," I pouted, crossing my arms.

"I know, that's why I asked her, honey," She smiled, and I rolled my eyes jokingly as she walked out the living room.
