Hello everyone. This is one of my alternate chapters for how the ending would go if Neteyam was brought back to life. The next one will come next week. Hope you enjoy it.

After their warm embrace, the family sailed on Payaka back to the rock shores where Tsireya and Atuiko awaited them. Kiri and Tuk were heartbroken. Tears rained from their eyes the moment they saw dried blood on his chest. The twins scrunched their eyes seeing his body again. Tsu'tey purred and Jake watched them wrap their arms around his neck. He sighed and hanging his head down. The Taquamare saw his grief and purred sorrowfully.
Tsireya and Atuiko, relieved as they were that the Sullys were safe helped them onto the rock shore. The moment she did, Neytiri fell to her knees again and cradled his body. Tuk fell into Kiri's arms, both crying and grieving. The twins embraced their friends, crying softly. "It's okay," Tsireya soothed, rubbing Sylwa's back.
"You're safe," Atuiko breathed as Lo'ak soothed his shoulders. "We're all safe,". He looked up at Lo'ak's tearful face and realised what he had just said; he felt deeply regretful. "I'm sorry,"
"It's okay. Your father and brother are safe," Lo'ak assured him. "They're all safe,"
"You saved my mother," Tsireya spoke to him. On the battlefield on the water, she had seen from a distance how he and Tsu'tey had saved Ronal alongside Soxato. 'You both saved all those people out there,". She smiled proudly at the pair and Lo'ak received an even tighter hug from Atu. Jake absorbed everything she said; he couldn't be more prouder.
Lo'ak however felt no deserving of such gratitude. He glimpsed again at his mother embracing Neteyam's body but then something strange flashed in his mind. He glanced at his spiritual brother; the mental link between them watched by their audience. They knelt beside Neteyam. "Lay him down," he told his mother.
She shook her head. "I cannot,"
Jake saw a strange change in him. "Do it babe,". Faith was all that was on his mind.
Still crying, Neytiri gently laid Neteyam down and stood up before lifting Tuk into her arms.
Sylwa with Tsireya holding her shoulders watched her twin hold up his queue; its tendrils touched Neteyam's fatal wound. Tsu'tey sat beside him and did the same thing with his special queue. Then with his marred hand and his spiritual brother's front webbed paws pressed over the other, they closed their eyes and the Sullys saw a strange glow pulsing through their bodies, flowing into Neteyam's body. His wound seemed to illuminated.
"Ahh!" Lo'ak screamed in agony. The stress it was waning on his body was too much.
The family became scared. "Stop!" Neytiri ordered. "You cannot give anymore!"
But Lo'ak would not stop. He couldn't give up. "Lo'ak! You must stop it!" Jake begged. He would not see him waste his life like this. He tried to grab him but Tsu'tey neighed at him, forcing him back with his head. He tried again but he was forced back again.
"You're killing our son!" Neytiri accused.
Tsu'tey neighed at her when she tried to grab him. "Don't touch him," Sylwa translated; she did her best to sound serious.
He mastered his pain. "I can do this!"
But the pain he crying out was too much for them to bear; they couldn't let him kill himself like this. Scared as he was for him, Atuiko trusted the Taquamare. "Do as Tsu'tey says,". Reluctantly the Sullys allowed Lo'ak to continue the process. Moments later, the glow receded and Lo'ak felt his hand and forearm burning mad as he fell back right into Jake's arms. Tsu'tey licked his burning palm and forearm.
