Fire had always been a dangerous element. Deyanira knew that better than most. Despite the pain it had caused her, she did not fear the flame. She understood how it yearned for more than what people wanted it to be. It danced around the world in a dangerous and deadly performance. And in its path, all that was left was the ashes of what used to stand there. You could rebuild your house and your city after a fire had ravaged through it. Rebuild it stronger and more resistant than before to protect it when the fire returns. But nothing will change the fact that, in the end, the fire will return.

Deya stood beside the care Rafael was under as she watched in case anyone sniffed their nose in business that didn't concern them. She looked back at Rafael to see what progress he had made on defiling private property.
"Hello?" That was when Hope Mikaelson appeared in front of them with a questioning look. Deya resisted the urge to roll her eyes as she nudged Raf. He rolled out from under the car and noticed Hope.
"Hey"
"What are you doing?" she questioned.
"Adjusting the sway bar," Rafael answered shortly.
"Was it broken? "Hope asked snippily. The sound of metal snapping was heard from under the car. Rafael rolled back out and handed the sway bar to Deya.
"It is now," Deya said with a sickeningly sweet smile. "We know you're going after Landon, and if you want this car to work, we're going with you."
"You two should stay out of it. He's a liar and a thief." Hope snapped.
"He took a stupid knife." Rafael returned.
"Nothing in this school is a stupid anything."
"Look, he's our best friend, and you, you seem vengeful." Rafael explained.
"Let me show you guys something." Her voice softened as she reached out to put a hand on each of their heads. Rafael caught the hand coming to him and Deya looked at her quizzically. She gave them a small nod, indicating that they could trust her. She mumbled something and flashes began to appear.
Landon on the bus.
Landon with the knife.
The bus burned to a crisp.
They both pulled back and stare at Hope. "What the hell was that." Rafael whispered in shock.
"Your best friend did that to a bus full of people on Route 29 last night, and I am the only one who knows how to find him so give me the engine thingy." She ordered.
"No." Rafael snatched the sway bar from Deya.
"I have actual magic powers" Hope threatened.
"And I have a long history of anger issues," Raf returned the threat.
"They can come." They turned to see Dr. Saltzman walking behind them with a bag over his shoulder.
"What?" Hope wondered aloud.
"They know Landon. They'll be assets and we need all the help we can get. So, fix the car and hop in." Hope sneered at them as she went to get in. Just as she was about to get in as well another storm of flashes washed over Deya.
A blond, curly haired boy with Hope.
An abandoned house.
A beautiful woman screaming out in pain.
Hope hugging a blond woman as she sobbed.
Hope torturing the same blond boy from before.
"Deya!" She came back to it at Rafaels calls. She looked to see all three of them looking at her with worried expressions, even Hope. Hope.
