♡ Headcannons - Akutagawa Ryuunosuke ♡

• Lactose intolerant 💀

• Is left handed

• He found out where Atsushi lives and sometimes breaks in just to stand there menacingly for a minute then leave

• His hair is really fluffy and kind of frizzy, so he has to use a special hair care routine to manage it

• He uses moisturiser and lip balm

• Tried using eyelash serum on his eyebrows to make them grow, but it didn't work 💀

• He owns a fig tree and leaves figs outside Dazai's door for him

• He listens to pierce the veil

• Grey-asexual

• He has pretty much no interest in petty romance, although there's a chance he could fall for someone if they were the right person

• He tries to organise catch-ups with Gin whenever they have a day off, but one of them usually ends up being busy so they settle for late night phone calls instead

• Wakes up super early and goes to bed super later, he only needs a few hours of sleep to functoon

• He has a vitamin-D deficiency and has to take like 4 supplements every morning

• Goes through at least two large bottles of cough syrup a week

• Because he has to take so much medication, he's basically immune to pain-relief and not much can really help relieve the pain when he's in a coughing fit (chronically ill kinnie moment)

• Can't stand spicy food, it hurts his throat and burns his insides

• Once, he went into Gin's room when she wasn't home and tried on one of her skirts... He got scared when he looked in the mirror and was so embarrassed by the sight that he basically forced his brain to erase the memory and pretend it never happened

• Can't write Japanese that well since he grew up in the slums and never learned, he tried to learn again when he was in the mafia but it never caught on

• He usually has to spell things out in hiragana/katakana and then get Gin to fill in the kanjis

• Due to his past in the slums, Akutagawa HATES feeling unclean

• He showers after every mission (so sometimes multiple times a day) and he uses a shit ton of cologne

• He has contamination OCD and sometimes has to wash his hands 7 times over if he's having a bad day

• He never really felt human, even when he was younger. Partly because his entire being was fixed on survival and that messed up his head

• Since he struggles to identify his own emotions he has always felt somewhat robotic, especially after Dazai left him he found it hard to feel anything other than anger and bloodlust

• He hates being beneath people in power and rank, having someone above him just reminds him of Dazai

• He would rather have his boss be an evil prick than a seemingly nice person, that way their intentions are easier to make out and it makes him less uneasy around them
