You slammed the front door with wet mascara plastered all across your face. This was the third time this week that your shit bag boyfriend had screwed you over, and you were fed up with it. Leaning against the wall and groaning in frustration, you slumped over onto the kitchen table defeatedly.

Nikolai, your roommate, poked his head into the doorway and giggled. "My my, what a sorry state you're in princess!" He teased, sauntering over and pulling out a chair from the dining table. "Tell me, what ever could be troubling a spoilt girl like you?"

Usually you would have told him to piss off, or scowled, or ignored him. But today... Today you decided you simply couldn't be bothered to argue with his teasing.

"My boyfriend is cheating on me." You mumbled bluntly, your forehead resting against the table. Nikolai raised an eyebrow at your statement, his thumbs twiddling beneath the table. Hesitantly, he pulled out a chair and sat next to you.

"He was useless anyway, you're better off without him." He remarked nonchalantly. You groaned and butted your head against the table again, ignoring what he said.

"I'm just fed up of being the second option..." You mumbled, not even bothering to filter what you were saying anymore. "Why am I never at the top of anyone's list? Am I really that ugly?"

To your shock, Nikolai burst out laughing. You raised your head from the table and angrily elbowed him in the ribs, your face scrunched up and on the verge of spilling even more tears.

"Hey, whats so funny?! Quit laughing asshole, I was opening up just now!" You frowned at your snarky roommate and saw the amusement in his eyes... You didn't even know why you bothered talking to him in the first place. Standing up abruptly from the table, you strode towards the door with tears in your eyes. Suddenly, you heard Nikolai speak.

"You're not ugly, Y/n."

You felt something jump inside your chest as you slowly turned around to face him. He was grinning widly, almost cockily... Yet somehow his words seemed sincere enough. You scoffed and sat back down.

"Oh yeah? What difference does it make? I still got cheated on."

Nikolai rolled his eyes and scooted closer to you, something devilish twinkling in his eye. His arm wrapped around your waist as he leant in to whisper in your ear, making the hairs on the back of your neck stand up.

"... So get back at him." He cooed. "Do something that'll make him regret hurting you in the first place."

Your eyes widened and you tried to comprehend what your roommate was insinuating. You raised an eyebrow and turned to face him again.

"Are you suggesting we murder him? Or are you asking me to have revenge sex with you?..." You knew both of your questions sounded like jokes, but with Nikolai, you never knew what was going through his head.

"Whatever you want princess." He smirked, leaning his elbow against the table. You couldn't lie... You always thought Nikolai was hot. And you did want to get back at your dirty ex... But surely this was wrong? I mean, he was your roommate, isn't there some kind of rule against sleeping with your roommate?

"Zoning out, are we?" He smirked and raised a gloved hand to cup your chin. "I can help with that... If you'll let me."

You sucked in a breath, feeling the heat of his body barely a centimetre away from your own skin. Your heart thumped irregularly beneath your ribcage, sending blood pounding into your ears... All the while Nikolai's grin only grew wider.

"All I need is a yes, doll." His breath brushed against your ear, sending a shiver down your spine. "Just one word... You can do that for me, right?"

He used his grip on your chin to bring your gazes together, and you saw a fiery look in his eyes that seemed different to the mischievous glow they had been harbouring a moment before. Now, instead of teasing... Nikolai almost seemed passionate.

"I, um... I think... Yes?"

Without wasting even a second, one of his hands swooped to grab your waist and the other came to rest on your cheek, pulling you into him with unexpected fervour. As his soft lips came into desperate contact with yours, you couldn't help but wonder how long he had been waiting for this. He was quick to slip his tongue between your lips, and you couldn't help but swoon at the way his kiss was captivating you.

A shared breath escaped both of your lips as you broke away, slightly shellshocked. Nikolai was flushed a little bit, his eyes glinting with devilish intent and his hands snaking up against the small of your back. You shivered a little; his fingers were cold.

"Mmm, just as I thought... You're definitely too good for that boyfriend of yours, dollface~" He smirked and you felt his hands glide down to the waistband of your trousers, pulling at it a bit. "How about you show me exactly how good you can be?"

Your stomach jolted at the boldness of his words, sending an electric shock down between your thighs. Your thumping heartbeat was making your head spin, but the feeling of his hands on you kept you grounded. Sighing deeply, you leaned into the touch.

"How exactly do you want me to do that?" Your voice shook a little as you spoke from all the adrenaline, yet you managed to hold eye contact with Nikolai the whole way through. He grinned in response, evidently pleased that you were responding to his flirting. Leaning in towards your face, he breathed against the case of your ear and made you shudder.

"How about you start by taking off these cute little clothes of yours?"

He pulled back to see your reaction to his instructions, expecting you to be a flustered mess. However, your mind was tuned in on revenge now, and you had no time for romantics... Or at least, that was what you thought. Meeting his eye, you responded without hesitation.

"Mhm, I can do that." You smirked while reaching for the buttons of your shirt.

Nikolai's face went a little pink, and he exhaled a few broken words as he absorbed the sight before him.

"Good... Good girl."
