Theo woke up the next morning remembering the conversation he had with Liana. He wanted to know more about how her father was abusive because he understood abuse. He understood the fear of seeing your abuser when they walked into the room. He felt that every day when he heard or talked to the Dreads. 

He hated getting close to people but Liana was different, Theo could already tell with her beautiful eyes that just drew you in and made him at least unable to hurt her and lie to her. He liked her and they seemed so similar. 

Now to find out that Liana wasn't a werewolf but a were-cheetah, the only one in existence at that. Well, it changed just about everything. Theo didn't just want to convince her to kill Scott and take his alpha ability, no he wanted to convince her to stay and join his pack. Although given how close he could tell Liana and Scott were, given how willing Liana was to jump in and protect Scott it might be impossible. 

He grabbed his bag after getting ready and headed out the door to the car. He pulled into the parking lot fifteen minutes later and smiled as he saw Liana, Mason, Scott, Lydia, and Malia talking by Liana's car. Theo pulled into the spot next to Liana's BMW.

Liana smiled as she noticed Theo getting out of his car on the other side of her BMW. She remembered last night and the conversation that she had with him. Liana had thought that she would regret getting that vulnerable early with Theo but she found that she didn't. 

She turned her attention back to the others as Lydia explained about the bloody transport van and Tracy's night terrors. Malia the ever shoots first and asks questions later person says "we should kill her when we find her." 

"We have to find her first," Scott spoke. 

Liana looked at Scott before looking at Malia "we find her first, we figure out if she can be saved, and if she can't then we can kill her." 

Scott looked at Liana confused "Lia, what?" 

"Huh," Liana barely let Scott finish as she glared at him. "Scott, look I know that you don't like to kill. If we find her and we can save her, I'll do what I can to save her but there's no guarantee that we can save her." Liana shouldered her bag again and started walking away leaving the others standing there stunned.

Theo who was listening to the whole thing from inside his car as he fiddled with his bag and smirked as he watched the 'beta' walk away. Liana didn't realize it but she had just given Theo an opening. Theo quickly got out of the car, put his backpack on his back, and locked it before speeding up to catch up with Liana. 

"Liana wait," Theo called to the blonde junior. He watched her turn around and stop waiting for him to catch up. "I can help you with these strange supernatural." 

Liana looked at him for a second before nodding "alright, thanks." Theo smiled before looking down as his smile turned into a smirk. They split up to go to their classes before the bell rings. Halfway through AP Biology Theo looks up in time to see Liana outside the door. He looked at her confused but she was focused on Scott. 

He saw Scott point to his ear so Theo enhanced his hearing and listened as well. Liana spoke "she's here Scott," Scott looked at Liana in shock along with Theo. "Tracy's here." 

Liana and Scott rushed to the classroom together and saw Tracy pass out. They looked at each other and took Tracy to Liana's BMW where Liana drove to the vet clinic. Neither the wolf nor the cheetah noticed Theo standing there and following them. 

The two burst into the vet clinic and called for Deaton who placed Tracy on the table, set a barrier of mountain ash, and tried to cut into her skin but the blade broke. He then turned her over and they noticed her spine was wiggling. Malia and Stiles who had just burst into the room spoke "step away from her." 

Just as Stiles yelled that, Tracy's back broke open and a bony tail flopped out striking all of them including Stiles. Liana fell to the floor next to Scott and Malia. All of them watched as Tracy ran out the door. Scott looked at the others "she's not a werewolf, she's a kanima." 

No one understood how she had gotten across the mountain ash barrier. Deaton looked at the teens on the floor "focus on healing to free yourselves from the Kanima venom. Focus on a single part of your body and try to get it to move." 

Liana glanced at her left arm and focused on her hand. After a minute of feeling nothing, she gasped as she watched her fingers flex. Scott drawn from the gasp looked at his beta "Liana." 

Liana swallowed and focused on the feeling of moving heading up her arm and into her whole body. Slowly, Liana lifted her arm off the ground and grabbed a hold of the counter to pull herself up. Liana leaned against the counter and spoke "I think I'm ok." 

"I am too," Liana looked up in shock coming face to face with Malia who had managed to heal herself as well. Liana smiled at Malia who nodded. 

Scott looked at both girls "go, go after Tracy." He then looked at Liana only "if you can, save her." Liana nodded before she took off after Tracy with Malia on her heels.

Both girls rushed out of the clinic and followed Tracy's scent. Liana looked at Malia "if we can't save her, you can kill her." Malia nodded as they followed the scent to the police station. They burst in and gasped as they found Kira applying pressure to Lydia's wound. 

Lydia looked at the two of them "Tracy thinks she's still asleep. She has my mom in the basement. Go wake her up." 

Liana nodded as both were-coyote and were cheetah rushed to the basement. Both stopped when they came to the bottom of the stairs and they saw the half-turned Tracy. Malia roared and her teeth came out along with her claws and her eyes turned blue. Liana roared as well causing spots to appear on her face and arms, her eyes to glow amber, her fangs to come out, and her claws to extend. 

Malia and Liana nodded to each other before engaging Tracy. Liana cartwheeled to avoid Tracy's claws. Malia swung in behind Liana and pinned Tracy to the ground with her knee. Liana and Malia both noticed that Tracy was now awake and Malia let her go. 

Both girls backed up as Tracy got up. It was then that the sound of chirping filled their ears. Liana and Malia looked at each other confused. Three men appeared in masks and sounded like crickets. One of them injected something into Tracy's neck and a silver liquid poured from her mouth causing Malia and Liana to wrinkle their noses at the sight. The man who injected her spoke, "her condition is terminal." They then walked away and disappeared as Malia and Liana watched stunned.
