I hear a knock on the door, which I did find a little strange since it was late at night, I go down stairs anyway to look through the peep hole and see who it was.

I go on my tippy toes and see Matt waiting on the other side. I unlock my door and open it for him. "Matt?" I ask. "Hi" he smiles. I look down and see the boy holding a bouquet of red roses. "Awe thank you Matt. Come in" I say as I take a step back letting him in. He hands me the flowers before he takes off his shoes. I walk through to the kitchen with Matt following close behind. "Did you get the guys home safe?" I ask. "Yeah. Everyone was sleeping in the back or dying of alcohol poisoning." Matt smiles. "Sucks to be them." I say putting the roses in a clear vase with hand painted flowers on it. "I love them thank you Matt" I smile before I press a small kiss on his cheek. "Who do you love more me or the flowers?" Matt questions with a smirk. "Mhm, probably the flowers" I smile. Matt gasps as he takes a step back. "And to think. I bought them for you." Matt says sarcastically being shocked. I roll my eyes before patting him on the shoulder.

We go upstairs to my room where I had my laptop already open and paused. "What you watching?" Matt asks jumping on my bed. "eternal sunshine of the spotless mind." I say. "Damn long title." Matt smiles looking up at me. "Yeah but it's a good movie" I say sitting next to him. "Well it's a good thing that it's just a few minutes in." Matt smiles. He spreads his arm behind me, I cuddle into him as we unpause the movie.

I feel myself falling asleep on his shoulder as it plays in the background. "I love you" he whispers. I look up to him and smile "I love you too" I whisper back. I soon drift off to sleep in matts arms as the movie plays in the background.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!" I hear a voice shout from my bedroom door. "Nate shut up." I groan throwing a pillow at The door. I hear footsteps walking closer to me and I slightly open my eyes. Seeing boots on the floor in front of me. My eyes go wide as I sit up. "DAD!" I shout waking Matt. He groans and opens his eyes to see Cora's dad standing above the two. "OH! Morning Mr. Doe." He slightly smiles. "Don't you morning me young man." He says sternly. "Dad!" I yell annoyed. "Get out my House Matthew." My dad instructs. Matt gets up and grabs all his things before running out the house.

"Cora." He sighs. "Dad, listen-" I get cut off. "Are you fucking kidding me?" He asks. I am taken aback. "Excuse me?" I ask a little dumbfounded. "Don't give me attitude young lady." He says a permeant frown on his face. "Dad we weren't even doing anything!" I explain. "Mhm sure. I thought I could trust you and your brother along for a short period of time. But I come home to see you with a boy in your bed and Nate asleep on the couch." He says as he rubs his eyes with his hand. "Dad." I say. "Get out." Is all he says. "Dad-...what?" I ask. "Get out of my house Cora." He says looking up from his hand. "But da-" I say as tears fill my eyes. "I don't care where you go, just get out of my house for a few days Cora. GET OUT!" He yells. Tears well up in my eyes as I grab a duffel bag and shove all my things inside it. "I want you out in twenty minutes." He says before walking out the room. I sob as I shove different things into my bag. I finally have all my things and I walk down stairs and grab my shoes, keys, wallet and bouquet with the vase. I shove everything in my car apart from the roses and put them in the back securely. I look up and see my dad staring back at me with no soul in his eyes. I look down and see Nate behind him with tears. "Good bye John." I say to my dad as I get in my car. He doesn't say anything else and I pull out of the drive way and drive away.

Tears fall onto my cheeks as I drive nowhere. I pull over and sob into my hands. I grab my phone from next to me.

You okay Cora, you sound like your crying?

He kicked me out.
Matt💙
Oh Cora. Come over to my house and we'll talk.
Cora💜
Okay, thank you Matt.

I hang up and pull out and drive to Matt's house, cheeks still red, eyes puffy and tear stains down my cheeks.

I get to the house and walk to the door and wipe away my tears a little. "Hello- Cora are you okay?" Mary Lou asks answering the door. "Yeah, im okay I just need to talk with-" I get cut off. "Nicks up in his room, with a few other boys right now Cora" Mary Lou explains. "No actually, I'm wondering where Matt is?" I ask. "Oh yeah. You two are like together now. My bad." She smiles and chuckles. "Yeah it's a little strange now" I smile at the happy woman. "He's in his room sweet heart" she smiles. "Thank you Mary Lou" I thank before earning a nod and I walk up to matts room.

I knock on the door and Matt opens the door. "Hey." He says. "Hi" I say before hugging him. His arms wrapping around my shoulders as I do so. "Come in." I
He says as I walk into his room. "Now. Tell me" he says sitting me on his bed. I tell him everything and sob a little while I'm telling the story. "Aw Cora" Matt says sympathetic before giving me a much needed long hug. "Can I sleep right now?" I ask. "Of course." Matt smiles. I get under the covers with Matt as we cuddle. "Thank you Matt." I smile looking up at him. "For?" He asks. "Being here." I smile. "You're welcome Cora" he smiles before resting his chin on my head.

Sadly though this book will only have a few more chapters left it and will end in the early days of next year.
