Chapter 30: Danger

Were you tired? Yes
But was there any other option? No

There you were drowning in a pool of dozens of bouquets of flowers, get well soon cards, chocolates and what not because kids found out about what happened

On the first day back to school, You didn't expect your seat to be full of white flowers which made it look like you died and as soon as you entered the class, it erupted into clapping sounds and everyone cheering you on

It didn't stop there but kids would come to you in lunch break to express their gratitude and tell you about how brave you are

This has been going on for 3 days now and you are already fed up of it "mannnn I wish I was treated like tht" Minho said taking a chocolate from your table which looked like a chocolate store

"I know right? Coming to class to receive flowers everyday is such a dream" soo-ah said sighing and then taking a few flowers from your table to smell them while jisung looked at her and made a note in mind about what his girlfriend likes

"Do you really want to feel like that you died everytime you come to class or you have an incurable disease that has made your life shorter with numbered days and your life clock is ticking EVERY. SINGLE. SECOND reminding you how you are not gonna live for long and everything will be gone anyday?"

You sighed and leaned back into your chair while the whole class fell silent upon your outbreak
You felt the class was silent so you turned your head to stare at them and they all slowly turned back to what they were doing before, including your friends

You have not yet told anyone about what exactly happened that day and thankfully no one has asked much about it too

Soon during lunch break the same thing was happening, kids coming upto you to ask how you felt although you never replied to them, soo-ah and everyone else made sure that they know that you are doing fine

"When is this going to stop?" I.N plopped his head on the table defeated from all the disturbance they have been experiencing

Felix patted his back "soon brother",
"Very soon Felix" seungmin said as he pointed towards you making felix turn to you only to see you gripping the fork and hitting the food again and again, getting more aggressive each time

"I am scared" jaehyun said as he looked at Tae who was equally scared but was trying play it cool "uhm....y/n...??" Hyunjin called out to you but u were too busy hitting the plate. Before he can say anything further some girls came up to the table "hey y/n!" As soon as you heard that u stopped hitting your plate and leaned back into your chair looking at them with the fork still in hand

"Uh oh" han said and held soo-ah's hand under the table. "Uhmm we heard what happened and we wanted to give you this" one of the girls' hand stretched with a bouquet in it.
You were tired of all this and got up facing the girls

The girls backed up a little "I mean if u don't...like it uhh we can take it-" "HEY!"
you were about to say something when you felt a hand on your shoulder which cut of the girls words as well

"Thanks, u can go now" jungkook took the bouquet from their hands giving them a faint smile and the girls hurried back to their seats.

He placed the bouquet infront of you on the table and walked back to his seat "ohhhh~~~~" you heard Minho and Felix while they looked at you two back and forth

"Shut it" you said and sat back down making them both go silent

"Are you sure you are okay?" Taehyung asked you with much concern "This is better than the hospital ceilings" taehyung understood you and everyone went back to eating and chatting
