╰┈➤ ❝ Time-skip | DON'S HOUSE | 𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐧 ■□■□■□■□■□■□■□■ ■□■□■□■□■□■□■□■ . . . Oliver and I smirked at each other as Don followed his mom to her room. We quickly sneaked to follow behind them as Ms.Jones shut the door behind them. We leaned on the door to listen and there was a sound of yelling from Ms.Jones. I could hear Don faintly attempting to defend himself but Ms.Jones seemed to be ignoring him. There was a loud bang followed by repeated slaps and screams of terror from Don. I immediately burst out laughing, falling over in the process holding my stomach. I could hear Oliver laughing just as loud as the screaming continued.
At this point I could hear Don pleading for his life but his mom continued to slap him with what I think was a belt. Don screamed again after the slapping sound started once again. I held my mouth before looking at Oliver and immediately wheezed as he looked as if he was about to explode. Soon the slapping died down to only silent crying from Don as his mom scolded him once more. "NOW GO TO YOUR ROOM! YOU'RE GROUNDED!" Ms.Jones yelled. Next thing you know we hear a thud and it wasn't from Ms.Jones room. It was from the attic. I quickly swung around to see Melanie's face planted into the ground.
She jumped up and ran closer to us screaming, "IS DON OKAY?!" Oliver and I looked at each other before looking back at Melanie. "That depends. Do you mean mentally or physically?" I asked. "He's good." Oliver said before openly laughing again. Don suddenly came out of the room. Noticing us he ran to his room and Melanie ran right after him, we followed behind. "LEAVE ME ALONE!" He shouted before starting to cry again. Melanie ran to comfort him and I rolled my eyes before yawning. "Don, I'm so sorry! I should've just taken the blame!" Melanie apologized. "It's not your fault!" Don says. "My mom wouldn't even have gotten this mad if Rain and Oliver didn't lie on me!" He snapped. "Oliver can be a jerk sometimes." Mel said she sat down along with Don, and I sparked up the conversation. "So we haven't gathered much information to actually plan an attack." I say awkwardly.
