╰┈➤ ❝ Time-skip | THE HOLE | 𝐌𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞 ■□■□■□■□■□■□■□■ ■□■□■□■□■□■□■□■ . . . As I slipped in and out of conciseness I heard Rain calling out to me. "Melanie! Where did you go!" She yelled worriedly. I've got to get out of this hole! "I killed all of those guys but I could've used some help from you." She says in a rather bitter tone, which is strange because Rain only says that type of stuff to Don or Oliver. Not to mention she's so experienced so why would she need my help? "Hurry up already so we can get out of here." She spoke up again as I heard her footsteps. For some reason my gut was telling me not to respond. But one thing she said really confirmed my suspicions, "I can't believe the two of us were able to sneak into this stupid party by ourselves. I mean, the security in here must really suck." She laughed a little, I immediately got of a lump in my throat. I quickly scurried to find a place to hide, realizing the hole that I fell into was a tunnel like cave. As I heard footsteps approaching from in front of me and Rain saying my name, I went to my left, finding a place carved in a similar format to a room with some rusty old lockers inside.
This is definitely not a good spot but I don't have another choice. I carefully opened one of the lockers, steadily to make less noise and stepped inside of the rusty metal box, closing myself in. I listened carefully as I heard the voice again. "Melanie..?" She whispered, her footsteps stopped for a good second, that's definitely not Rain. Then who is it? Rain knows that all four of us snuck in... the only one who doesn't know would be..
My thoughts ran blank as I heard someone entering the room. I held my breath as they searched the room. I heard a loud bang as they quickly opened the locker and slammed something into it. I saw the fake Rain walk past my locker through the holes carrying something.. my ax! Shit.. I must've forgotten it! And she had this look on her face, this expression. It was almost emotionless with a hint of anger. She gritted her teeth, and I saw her take out a gun. I almost jumped as she fired at one of the lockers, realizing my locker was the last one left. I ducked down as I saw her point it at mine. My blood ran cold. The sound of cracking in the distance echoed. I was finally able to breathe as I heard her walk away, towards the sound. If Rain can transform, then David probably can too. I waited for a moment before getting out. I need to find a way out of here and fast..
