╰┈➤ ❝ Time-skip | DON'S HOUSE | 𝐌𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞 ■□■□■□■□■□■□■□■ ■□■□■□■□■□■□■□■ . . . It was around a little past 10 and we were all getting ready to go to the mall. I was already ready but I'm currently waiting on Rain. She said she needed to finish her makeup, which I wasn't too sure on what makeup was but I agreed. Which reminds me, where is Oliver? He should be getting here any minute now. I glanced at Rain in the distance, using some sort of tool on her eyelashes in the mirror. I think it was to make them look longer I guess.. but I don't really understand why because we are just going out to get clothes and stuff. She was dressed in this low shoulder black top, with a furry pink outline on the shoulders along with some jeans, pink heels with a little fluff on it and a silver necklace with her initial on it. I felt kinda out of place since I just had on a hoodie but it is comfortable.
Just as I was lost in my thoughts, I heard the doorbell ring. I walk over to the front door, unlocking the door before slightly opening it only to get shoved back as someone pushed the door. "The party is here!" Oliver announces, bursting in and walking past me, still wearing the same jersey jacket. Now that I think about it.. have I ever seen him wearing anything else. I sigh, closing the door and walking back up the hall before bumping into a tired looking Don. "Oh, morning Don!" I greet smilingly, a little relieved to see him. "M-Morning Mel." He replied, avoiding eye contact. "How was your sleep?" I ask.
"You really need to take this much time to get ready, seriously.. it's already 10:30!" I could hear Oliver loudly chuckling as I tried to talk to Don. "Uh.. I-it was fine.." he replied, looking at me. As we talked for a little bit, there was silence from the other two before I heard Rain abruptly groaning before screaming, "UGH, WHO LET HIM IN?!" I hesitated, looking behind me and chucking awkwardly. "You guys about to leave?" Don questions. "Yeah, just waiting on Rain." I answer in a nod. "Well, have fun." He says, forcing a smile. "Well I don't know if that's gonna be possible with Rain and Oliver but I'll try." I smile, turning my head at the sound of light heels clacking approaching. I see Rain walking down the hall, using a tiny mirror while putting on some lip gloss. "Mel, where's my purse?" She asks, staring in her mirror.
