It had been thirty minutes since you, Alex, and Danny settled in front of the TV, yet the three of you couldn't come to a unanimous decision on which movie to watch. Well, truth be told, the indecision was mainly between you and Danny. Alex was happily munching on popcorn, seemingly unfazed by the movie debate.

"Mamma Mia," Danny exclaimed, advocating for the musical movie choice once again.

However, you were quite tired of musicals and Danny's less-than-perfect singing renditions, especially after enduring La La Land the night before.

You shook your head. "No, let's watch 10 Things I hate about you."

It was one of your favorite movies. You weren't a huge fan of rom-coms, but the romance was not too cheesy and the soundtrack was immaculate. Kat's character was also iconic. You'll never get tired of watching it.

But Danny persisted, insisting that Mamma Mia would be a perfect movie. He looked to Alex for support and the look on his face told you you were about to lose this debate.

"I haven't watched Mamma Mia in a long time..."

Feeling somewhat defeated, you let out a sigh, realizing you were outvoted. "Mamma Mia it is then," you reluctantly agreed.

Danny happily set up the movie, grinning and singing along to all of the songs.

You were halfway through it when the front door opened and Cole returned from some party, making a lot of noises as always.

"Seriously, can you keep it down? We're trying to watch a movie here," Alex scolded him, clearly irritated by his untimely return.

"What movie?" Cole asked, making his way into the living room, seemingly eager to pester Alex further.

"Oh, is that Mamma Mia? I want to watch it too," Cole said plopping himself on the couch in between Y/n and Alex attempting to snatch the popcorn bowl from him.

"Absolutely not," Alex retorted, holding onto the popcorn tightly, not willing to share.

"Guys.. can we just continue watching the movie please?" Danny sighed out loud, making his brothers stop arguing.

A few scenes later your attention wandered away into your thoughts, and you could no longer focus on the musical. Instead, all kinds of questions wandered around in your thoughts; Cole doesn't seem like the type to voluntarily watch musicals at all, but why now? ... and why is he so cramped between Alex and you? Was it just his way of trying to annoy Alex? ... Why did he come back from the party so early?

Your thoughts suddenly get disturbed by the feeling of being watched. Through the reflection of the television, you see that your gut feeling is indeed correct, Cole's gaze piercing you.

Is it just me or is it suddenly getting really hot in here? you think as your face starts turning red. wait no.. what's wrong with me .. I'm making myself cringe, my life isn't a romcom, why would he stare at me, he's probably just watching the movie.' my thoughts wandered, when once again they get interrupted, this time by a chuckle from none other than Cole.

"Are you even hearing what I'm saying" you hear Danny say.

"oh, sorry ... I was zoned out .. Wait the movie is over already?" you say as you realize you have been staring at a paused screen for god knows how long. "Enjoyed the view *y/n/n?" Cole says facing you, staring deeply into your eyes with a grin on his face.

"I'm sorry, I should go to bed, I'm very tired from today's chores, I'll make it up to you guys next time," you say as you get up and walk towards the hallway, faking a smile.

"Good Night." Danny and Alex say in unison, Danny with a sweet smile on his face and Alex with a somewhat jealous look on his.

"Well I'll get going as well," Cole says as he's making his way towards the doorway where you are standing, gaze fixed on yours with a smile forming on his lips. "Musicals aren't my thing."

"Good night guys," you say as you leave the room. you quickly walk up the stairs to get into your room as soon as possible to get away from whatever just happened.

But of course, Cole has caught up to you on top of the stairs, his attention was drawn to the navy sweatshirt you were wearing, and he raised an amused eyebrow. ''Is that my sweatshirt?'' he inquired with a grin, realizing it belonged to him.

"Oh.. yeah, about that, I got cold while watching the movie and this was the first thing I saw hanging around the couch so I put it on,"

It was oversized on you, but incredibly comfortable, and it smelled like him.

"I hope you don't mind."

Cole shook his head, "It looks good on you."
