"LUCAS, JUST BECAUSE I said yes to one piece of candy, doesn't mean you can have the whole bowl!" Ariella said as she chased the young 7 year-old around his house. The boy laughed as she struggled to keep up with him, but eventually Ariella managed to tackle him onto the couch. "What do you think your mother's going to say if she came home to find you eating all of the candy she specifically said not to." Ariella asked giving him a pointed look before taking the bowl from his hands and picking up any candy that had fallen on the ground.

"Hey! That's cheating, Ari," Lucas said as he saw the older girl putting the bowl on top of the fridge where she knew he wouldn't be able to get it. "It isn't cheating if we were never playing a game," Ariella remarked, ruffling the boys hair before cleaning up their dinner plates. "Maybe you can get another piece if you help me with the dishes. All you have to do is put them in the dishwasher, I'll rinse them." Ariella said as Lucas nodded his head and put all the dishes that were handed to him in the dishwasher.

"I'm home." Izobel yelled from the front door while she took of her shoes and set her stuff down on the counter. "Hey Iz. There's some left over food on the stove if you want it." Ariella said giving the girl a smile. "Thank you," Izobel said grabbing a plate from the cabinet. Ariella had already watched Lucas a couple times since she met the mother and son, and to say the least, she was very fond of them.

Izobel is really funny and carefree, she is an amazing mother and does everything she can for Lucas. And Lucas is a goofball at heart, but knows when to be polite and more calm. For a 7 year old, he was better at reading a room than even Scott and Stiles are, and they're almost 10 years older than Lucas. "All I'm going to say is if he has a sugar rush, it was all his fault, ok." Ariella said with a grin while Lucas looked at her with widened eyes. "Shhhhh," Lucas whispered pulling on her jacket sleeve.

"Well bud, I have to go get some sleep, but I'll see you later this week okay?" Ariella said as Lucas hugged her and then Izobel. "Bye-bye Ari!" Lucas said waving to the girl before she walked out of the Matthews house. She had drove for maybe 10 minutes before realizing she was out of gas. "You've got to be shitting me," she groaned, pulling into the closest gas station.

She went inside the store and bought herself a soda and gas before going back out to her car. While she was waiting for her tank to fill, a familiar SUV parked behind her. "Why does he just show up out of no where." Ariella whispered to herself as she watched two people get out, one who she thought she'd never see again, or at least for a very long time.

"Well, well, well. Isn't it Ariella Gilbert." Kate smirked as her and Chris walked up to the girl. "Kate Argent, I would say good to see you but... I don't really want to see you." Ariella said with a fake smile as she heard the click from the pump. "You still got that fire." Kate said as Ariella closed her gas tank. "And you still have that bitchy attitude." Ariella said going to walk to the drivers side of her car before Kate grabbed her arm.

"You might want to watch your attitude around some people. They won't be so... nice about it." Kate whispered in the girls ear. "Yeah, well I grew up Kate. I'm not 12 anymore. I can handle myself and I certainly don't need you on my ass every 5 minutes. So, if you'd let me go, I'd gladly leave." Ariella said taking Kate's hand off her arm and removing the fake smile on her face.

Kate's smirk never left her face as she took out her knife and slashed Ariella's tire. "Whoops." Kate said as she got back in the passenger seat. "Go, I'll be fine." Ariella said annoyed to Chris who watched the girl carefully. "Jess, I need you to come pick me up." Ariella said with a sigh as she called her brother. "Why, what happened," Jess asked sounding alarmed. "Fucking Kate is in town, and that bitch slashed my tire." Ariella said running a hand over her hair. "I'll be there soon," was all Jess said before they hung up before she texted Stiles.
