IT HAD BEEN A COUPLE of days since the incident at the school and Ariella was beyond overwhelmed. Dean was yet to come and talk to Ariella about becoming a hunter and it was scaring her. She didn't want to join them, not even one bit, but Dean threatened the people that she loves most. She would do anything for the people she cared about, and one of those people has become none other than Derek Hale. That is why she was currently at 'Beacons Crossing Home' where Derek's uncle, Peter, currently resided.

"I don't know if you can even hear me, and I don't even know why I'm here or what I'm doing," Ariella said as she picked at her nail polish with a small laugh. "If you can hear me, I just want to say I'm sorry. I'm sorry for what my parents did, for what my dad did. There's nothing that I could even say or do that could make up for the loss of your family. Nobody deserves what you and Derek went through, not even the worst people in the world. I hope you manage to heal and are able to live your life normally someday." Ariella said as the nurse came in which Ariella took it as her sign to leave. She took one last look at Peter before walking out of the hospital and to her car which was now fixed.

She stopped by her house for a couple of minutes to get changed in some clothes for a run before she drove to the woods. Ariella parked her car before grabbing a knife and putting it in her waistband as she got out. She ventured through the woods until she found a trail to begin her run on. She lightly jogged until she came to an abrupt stop when she spotted a tired looking dog hiding behind the rock in the shade. "Hi doggy," Ariella said as she slowly made her way up to it. The dog started to growl at her causing her to slow her pace but still, very slowly, walk towards the dog. She stuck her hand out for the dog to sniff and when the dog finally did, it started wagging its tail slightly.

"You must be so thirsty." Ariella spoke as she grabbed water out of her backpack and started pouring it for the dog to drink. "Where are your owner's girl?" Ariella said as she looked around to find no one. Once the dog was done drinking water Ariella closed the cap and put it back in her bag as the dog slowly walked around her, smelling her. "It's okay, I'm friendly." Ariella said as she reached her hand out to pet the dog, and was slightly surprised when the dog didn't growl. "Come on, I'll take you home with me." Ariella said as she patted her leg when she started walking and the dog immediately followed.

Ariella decided it would be best to go by the vet before bringing the dog home in case she had any diseases. "Knock knock," Ariella said as she watched Scott peer around the corner. "Ari? What are you doing here, and why do you have a dog?" Scott questioned the girl who was holding the dog in her arms. "I found her, isn't she so cute?" Ariella said as she smiled at the dog and then at Scott. "What do you mean you found her?" Scott asked the brunette warily. "I mean she was hiding in the shade, thirsty and tired and I found her while on a run." Ariella spoke as Scott let her in the back where she set the dog on the table.

"And what your going to keep her?" Scott asked as Deaton walked in the room. "Yes, exactly that." Ariella said while Deaton smiled at her. "Did you ask Jess?" Scott asked as Deaton started examining the dog. "Not yet," Ariella said as Scott gave her a deadpanned look. "What, at least I brought her here to check if she has rabies or any other thing you dogs get." Ariella said while Scott looked at her unamused. "You dogs?" Scott questioned the brunette girl. "Yes, you dogs." Ariella said as she petted the dog.

"You make me question why we are even friends sometimes," Scott said with a small smile on his face. "Come on Scott, you know you love me." Ariella spoke, now with a big smile on her face. "Most of the time," Scott remarked which caused Ariella to slap him on the arm. "Well she seems pretty healthy, she needs to eat some food though she's a little small for her size and weight." Deaton said as he peeled off his gloves.
