Secrets...and Powers

To recap the past 24 hours and the current situation... the leader of Yoonhwa is dead.

Stabbed in the heart by an enemy general. Currently, Soon-ha and I are situated in the The League of Assassins' headquarters until we get back-up. Which shouldn't be long.

The elders have decided to protect and lead the organization under the direction of Soon-ha until Sujin and I are old enough to stand our ground.

During the night, Yoonhwa is Korea's top defender and fighter, but during the day, it is a billion-dollar worth business. My sister and I must train hard to inherit and lead Yoonhwa.

Another thing. A secret. A family secret.

My sister and I are quite literally not fully human. The blessing of Yongwang, sacred dragon of the sea and wind, runs through our blood.

In short, a powerful serpentine used to be the protector of the Korean royal family. Somewhere in the whole protecting the country thing, the dragon fell in love with Queen. Kinda weird, trust me, I know. It decided it was time to rest after centuries of protecting when the Queen was near her death. It wanted to die with her, how cute.

Anyways, our royal blood-line was promised the blessing of the sea and wind. So yes, we basically got the dragons's powers passed down. But you know how the world works, when people find out about such a power - they want it for themselves.

Leaders in Japan betrayed my parents in attempt to hold the powers for themselves, killing them both in the process. After my grandfather unalived the entire organization in a bloody war, we had to keep it a secret. We had to pretend we were weaker than we were to protect our small country. Conceal great powers so the greedy don't betray. For years, we relied only on our skills, the raw strength from our ancestors.

My twin inherited the power of the sea. Her alter-ego name is Azure. That leaves me to inheriting the power of the wind. My code name is Seraph.

But there's a problem. My grandfather was the last one critically trained in his powers. Azure and I have been brutally trained in both our assassin skills and powers, but we still had a lot to learn about the dragon. Textbooks and scriptures cannot be replaced by teachers.

The elders have decided that it would be too difficult for both of us to become stupidly powerful and rule the organization. So it was decided. Yujin would take over Yoonhwa's directives while I became a human weapon.

I would vow that our people would not be killed like my Grandfather ever again.
