Victorias POV

I pulled into Jake's driveway, elated to see him for the first time in months. I gather my keys and water bottle, exiting my gray beetle and I walk to the trunk. I continue to open the trunk and pull out my suitcase and duffle bag. As I make my way towards the front of the house I manage to send Jake a quick text saying that I'm here. I finally make my way to the door and knock a solid rhythm into the wood.

I can hear the patter of clothes feet as they lurk nearer to the door. I prepaid myself to be bombarded with my brother's ruff hugs. Instead the door swings open and I'm met with a familiar face, one that belongs to my brother's close friend Johnnie Guilbert. oh I feel his eyes graze against my body as he not so subtly looks at me up and down. We both end up staring at each other. I stare at his bed hair and bare face. Woah and damm are the only words running through my head right now except for me also thinking of running my hands through his soft but spiky ha-  victoria get a grip u just meet him for the first time jeez. After what seems to be 1 minute which in reality was about 20 seconds.

"Who are you?" Johnie blurts out.

"What do you mean? I'm Jake's sister, didn't he tell you I was staying over?" I am extremely confused.

"Oh uh no he didn't" Johnie says with the same tone.

"i'll jus-"
"ima cal-" we both interrupt each other.

"sorry um come in, i'll go wake up jake" johnie says

"ok" I let out with a squeak.

I walk in with my suitcase trailing behind me. I look around taking in the somewhat large couch and fluffy rug. As I walk over to the couch I can hear muffled yells coming from what I assume to be Jake's room followed with a door opening and two sets of feet coming down the stairs.

"VICTORIA" Jake yells with a raspy voice

I shoot up from the couch and make my way over to him.

"Hey Jake" I let out with a huff as Jake engulfs me with his strong arms. "Kinda need to breathe here Jake '' I hear my muffled self say from in between my brother's arms.

"Oh sorry" Jake quickly removes his arms from around me then brings them to my shoulders. "I've missed you so much you can't even imagine"

"I know Jake, trust me, me too"

I watch as Jakes gaze goes from my eyes to behind me, Jake's hands leave there spot from my shoulders and move down to my biceps. Swiftly spinning me around to face Jonnie jake says.

"Johnnie meet Victoria, Vic meet Johnnie" Jake introduces us.

"Hi nice to officially meet you," I say, taking the lead.

"Yeah you too" Johnnie says. Weird I thought he was a lot more .. well.. Weird or at least more talkative, he's probably just supper shy in person, or does he not like me or am i being to weird, maybe I shouldn't take the lead next ti-

My inner rambling gets interrupted as my brother clears his throat.

"So ill just take your bags and show you your room" Jake says with a bewitherd tone.

"Oh um yeah here" I say, handing him my duffle, I then make a short trip to the coach to get my suitcase.

"How long are you staying again?" Jake says with a hint of humor across his face.

"You shit head" I say with a laugh as I smack my hand across the back of jake's head "I have more shit in the car"

"Come on Vic you don't need that much stuff"

"Jake you've lived with me for like 15 years you know how I am" I sass

"Do I really though" Jake says with his deep youtube voice.

"Stop being a jackass and show me my room"

"Um, do you want me to get the rest of your stuff?" Johnnie askes with a bit of uncertainty in his voice.

"Oh yeah sure that would be sick" I say.

Me and Jake silently watch as johnnie disappears through the front door.

"Why'd you say sick" Jake says, breaking the silence.

"I don't know, you're the one with the weird roommate" I say sounding defeated.
