Riley.

CADE'S POV

That jerk I really hope he didn't do anything to my beautiful little angel over here. She's sleeping so soundly. She looks so peaceful.

But she hasn't been the same with me since Ruby I know it's just one day but still. She seemed cold yesterday , yeah yesterday considering it's 1in the morning.

Riley was slowly drifting away from me and I couldn't let that happen. I couldn't lose to him. And what he said about my father  . How does he even know him? Or is he one of those stalker haters out there.

All I know is that he's bullshit. I finally reach the front door. Here now is the problem. How will I open it with Riley still in my arms.

I don't want to drop her or anything. I can't put her down cause I know the ground is freezing.

After a lot of thought I decided to throw her on my shoulder but lightly so as not to wake her or anything.

I open and close the door with one hand on Riley's lower back to prevent her from falling. I return her to her previous position.

I start ascending up the stairs and with Riley in my arms it's twice as hard.

I finally reach her bedroom and since it's not as hard to open her bedroom door as it is the front door ,I easily walk in.

I lay her on her bed and tuck her in. She snuggles into her sheets. I whisper I love you to her I stay in her room a little longer as if waiting to hear the same words from her.

As I walk out I swear I hear her say I love you too and this brings a smile to my face. I quickly walk to my room and try to sleep rather than think of the angel sleeping in the room next to me.

And I can't sleep . If only I'd spent the day with her I bet I could've slept better. I keep tossing  and turning.  Nothing can keep my mind off of her.

I toss and turn a couple of times and finally  drift off  to sleep.

SEB'S  POV
I drive a couple of miles till am finally home.

"Son you finally came home , I thought you wouldn't tonight. "

"Hi dad, I decided  to come just to give you some information  about the twins."

"Wait did you say the twins like the White's? "My dad sat up and looked at me with anticipation.

"Yeah , it's unbelievable but there here in France  and I have a way to get to them."

"You do? What don't tell me you befriended one of them or worse both of them."

"No obviously  not, there is someone really dear to them ,the both of them."

"Who?"

"A girl, you might remember  her from the US."

"Is it the girl who was your girlfriend?  And what are you planning  with her?"

"No its not Sally it's Sally's  best  friend , Riley. "

"Oh the girl you used to talk about 24/7?"

"Yeah , she came here with the twins and  I think she's really dear to them."

"Ok but what is your plan?"

"I don't know dad, that's why am here."

"Ok ummmm  play it cool for now , I'll think of something,  at least  we got a hold of them."

"Did she tell you why she's here?"

"Yeah for the birthday  of the twins."

"Perfect  meaning Mr White will come out of hiding  for the party."

"Make sure you go to that party and tell me everything  that happens. "

"Sure dad, now can I  please freshen  up and sleep for a while? "

"Sure son , nice work today,  will take back what is ours. "

I walk into my room and freshen up. I lay in my bed and think.  Did Riley really  fall for me but I know it's hard not too.

She's pretty though , prettier than she was. I enjoyed the night with her though.  Too bad she chose the wrong side . But there may be hope for her if she chooses me  over  those jerks .
