Soon classes ended and I had things I needed to do one was check up on Charlie, the other two was visit Sensei and try to avoid fighting Chad. But sadly the avoiding part didn't work as soon as I stepped outside Chad had pinned me against the wall really hard.
As Chad pinned me against the wall, I winced in pain, feeling the impact reverberate through my body. I could feel the anger radiating off him, and I knew that this confrontation was far from over.
"Y/n, you think you can just walk away from me?" Chad growled, his voice filled with malice. "You made a big mistake earlier, and now you're going to pay for it."
I took a deep breath, trying to steady myself despite the fear and pain. I knew that fighting back would only escalate the situation further, and I didn't want to stoop to Chad's level.
"Chad, let me go," I said firmly, my voice tinged with determination. "This isn't going to solve anything. We can find a better way to handle our differences."
Chad sneered, tightening his grip on me. "You think you're so righteous, don't you? Well, let's see how righteous you feel after this."
Before I could react, Chad threw a punch towards my face. Instinctively, I turned my head to the side, narrowly avoiding the full impact of the blow. The punch grazed my cheek, leaving a stinging sensation behind.
Summoning all my strength, I mustered a swift kick to Chad's knee, causing him to momentarily lose his balance. Taking advantage of the opportunity, I quickly slipped out from his grasp and stepped back, ready to defend myself if necessary.
Chad, now seething with anger, lunged towards me once again. But before he could reach me, a familiar voice cut through the tension.
"Boys, that's enough."
It was a teacher, standing a few feet away, his presence commanding and authoritative. Chad froze in his tracks, his eyes widening in surprise and fear.
The teacher approached us, his gaze shifting between Chad and me. "Violence is not the way to resolve conflicts," he stated firmly. "Chad, I expect better from you. Y/n, I commend you for trying to find a peaceful solution."
I nodded, grateful for the teacher's intervention. "Thank you, sir. I don't want any trouble. I just want to move forward and focus on my day."
The teacher's expression softened, and he placed a hand on my shoulder. "I understand, Y/n. Let's work towards that together. Chad, I suggest you do the same."
With that, the teacher turned and walked away, leaving Chad and me standing there, the tension slowly dissipating. It was a small victory, but it was a step towards finding a better way to handle conflicts and a reminder of the importance of staying true to my principles.
As I made my way to check up on Charlie and continue with my plans for the day, I couldn't help but feel a renewed determination to navigate through the challenges that lay ahead, both on and off the mat.
