No place for the fake princess.... and yet here I am...

An order?

I felt very tired but somehow I still decided to wake up and that was when I was met with Fenrir licking my face to the point someone had to actually pick that wolf off the bed. I mean I just saw him all of the sudden get away and heard the voice of his majesty. It was enough to put one and one together.

Eustice: How are you feeling?

Me: Tired, why is your majesty here?

Eustice: Because he pulled me over to you.

Me: Fenrir?

Fenrir: You were sick! I didn't know what to do! You felt soo cold too! I... I... I...

Fenrir started whimpering as he tried to get free from Eustice to get back at my side. Meanwhile I tried to sit up and have a look around but a cat jumped on my chest and seemed to push me down. Alright, two against one. I was not gonna sit up. 

Eustice: I didn't know you had also a cat with you.

Me: A stay I found. Very lovely and cute.

Eustice: You don't have to find any excuses. You are allowed to keep as many pets as you want.

Fenrir: You think he will say that too if he knew about Sivax?

Me: ....

No, he would definitely not say that to Sivax.

On that note...

Elincia did see Sivax.

I wonder what she told him.

Me: What did Elincia say that you are here?

Eustice: Nothing. I came because you were sick.

Me: You don't have to hide it.

Fenrir: I called him, Master. I knew you needed some holy powers instead of a mage... he had the strongest holy power I could sense.

Eustice: I am never lying to you. 

Me: ...

Eustice: And Elencia said something about a giant snake in the lake. Do you happen to know about that as well?

There it was. I was already worried for nothing. Of course he was not here only because of my health. It was impossible that he was here solely for that for sure. The king I knew, didn't really care about me at all. He cared more about Elincia then Philomel aka me. That was what the book that I had read told me about the future.

Me: If I say that I knew it, what would you do?

Eustice: Leave the lake as it is. However if it is a monster than we need to catch it.

Me: My fellow buddies are not monsters and that sea creature. I don't possess any water spirits at all.

That was the truth here. Sivax was a creature of darkness and nothing else. So if he meant Sivax, then he was definitely refering to my dragon the wrong way for sure. I was not gonna give him anything about Sivax at all. Not until the party where Elincia was for sure gonna be announced as the next heir in line of the throne. Eustice just had to show her to the public one day or the other and that will be the day I will become a commoner if my dear father wouldn't declare that he was my real father. That would never happen so I was sure to have Sivax escort me instead of anyone for sure.

Eustice: I see. Then it seems like we will need to search for a monster.

Fenrir: Pffff- He doesn't know about anything.

As I was laying in my bed, I decided to close my eyes for a second to rest internally and pet my father who just so happen to be a cat at the moment. Still it was soothening to pet the soft fur. If Fenrir wouldn't have started growling and barking at the cat, I would have continued but I stopped and held out a hand where Fenrir immediately came onto the bed and flop right next to me so I could pet him instead.

Yeah....

This was Fenrir and he was a lovely companion for life. 

Sivax was great as well but normally everyone was scared about a dragon around my neck. I loved them both soo dearly that I would glady lose my life protecting them. Even though that meant dying with them together.

Eustice: Philomel.... I want you to rest here as much as possible. Tell me if you need anything.

Me: I am fine, your majesty.

Eustice: You are not and some of the doctors I called to check upon you thought that you will never wake up again. Do not joke about this and rest properly that is an order.

Before I could really say anything more a servant, who I knew well and who was serving the king, came into the room with a bunch of papers for the king. It looks like he was about to stay with me in the same room which I found quite ridiculous but I felt to tired to deal with this for now.

Fenrir: I will make sure you continue to be safe Master!

I thought I also heard a mew but that could be just my imagination as I started to drift off again.
