It's Jess, the author, hence the title "author's note".
This is my first story on my new account. I used to be a big fanfiction writer back in the "hay day" of fanfiction on another Wattpad account where I'd write about The Hunger Games/Jennifer Lawrence, Criminal Minds, Taylor Swift, and a whole bunch of other fanbases. This is my first story that has a genuine, real plot with characters I've created completely myself and absolutely adore.
I hope you love Taya and Kyler as much as I love them. While they journey through their senior year of high school, I hope that you can find different ways to relate to them. I wish that I had some young, sapphic, YA books when I was their age and had no idea I was gay. Now that I've gotten older, I hope that I can write the representation that I wanted.
