Sons of Garmadon

We had just finished fixing the bounty when the Sons of Garmadon showed up. They tied us to a pole. Ultra Violet was playing with Wu. With a weapon. "That's not how you take care of a kid," I said through my teeth.

"I didn't ask your opinion," she replied. "The Quiet One told us not to harm you because she believes you'll change your mind. So keep your mouth shut."

It was when we stopped moving at the waterfall that I found the keys. "Cole, Nya, I have an idea," I mumbled. They both glanced at me. "Cole, you make a distraction. Nya, you get Wu to grab the keys." They nodded and Cole started singing. I winced. He really was a terrible singer. Jay gave me an I told you so look. I shrugged. It was the only way to deal with this. Nya undid the chains and we all sprung into action. The Ninja surrounded the Sons of Garmadon. I held a knife on my sister. "Hello, Harumi," I said coldly. 

"Move the knife away from my throat, sister, and join us," she replied.

"I'd willingly die first."

Suddenly Lloyd came flying out of the mountain and Cole caught him. "Guys, Harumi is the Quiet One," he said hurriedly.

"Yeah, we got that," Kai said as the Sons of Garmadon moved in on us.

Lloyd's eyes landed on his father and he opened his mouth to say something. I clamped my hand on his mouth. "Shh," I hissed in his ear. "Don't tell anyone. We're going to take Harumi out when she tries to bring your dad back. Once she sees it didn't work she'll think she's failed. That's when we grab her." He nodded and I dropped my hand. Suddenly a water bug exploded in front of us. 

Lloyd grabbed my wrist and pulled me away from the water. "It's back," he said.

When it came out again we all ended up fighting it. I heard one of the Garmadon idiots tell Harumi to get out of here. "Not without the masks," Harumi said and whistled. Everyone who had a mask stopped fighting and followed her. 

Zane froze the water creature in the water. "Guys, I need to go after her," Lloyd said as the Bounty rose into the air.

"No," I said sharply. "That's exactly what she wants you to do."

He looked at me. "Y/n, this is my fault. I have to fix this."

"She won't be able to bring back your father," I said in a low voice. "Because I've already done it. Don't go and get yourself killed now."

"Besides, we all fell for it," Nya said.

"Y/n didn't," he pointed out.

I rolled my eyes. "Uh, hello? I'm her sister. I've learned to watch her carefully. I saw her drop the mask when we were escaping from the palace. That was my first hint. Then she realized I was onto her and she told me who she was."

"Please," Lloyd pleaded.

They all looked at me. "What?" I said surprised. "I'm not the leader here. Lloyd is."

"But you know things so what do you think?" Cole said.

I groaned and looked at Garmadon. He nodded. "Fine," I said exasperatedly. "Nya, Zane, create a ramp for Lloyd to use to get to the ship." They did and Lloyd used spinjitsu to get on the boat. He landed on the anchor and then swung up onto the deck. We watched as they caught him. The Bounty disappeared. 

"Now what are we going to do?" Kai asked.

We all looked at each other. Then the water creature broke free. "We use him," I replied. I touched its leg and soothed its spirit. We all climbed on and rode it to Ninjago. 

At the police station, we left it with a guard. "What am I supposed to do with it?" The guard asked.

"Uh, take it to the zoo?" Cole asked as we ran away.

"Cole, there is no zoo in Ninjago," I said.

He grinned. "I know. It was just the first thing that popped into my head."

We talked to the Commissioner and told him everything. Including our plan with Garmadon. "So she's going to fail and that's when you're going to get her?" He asked.

"Yup. But this is also a rescue mission since she has Lloyd," Nya said. 

It took some time but we all got to the place that had not been blown up when the palace did. "She made sure this survived," I growled angrily.  We entered and saw Harumi looking at the masks in confusion. "I'll deal with her. You guys deal with Lloyd and...Misako?" I yelped.

"Just focus on your task," Cole said. "We can handle them."

I walked over to Harumi. "I don't understand," she said. "Why didn't it work?"

I smirked. "Because I got there first."

She looked at me. "What do you mean?"

"The guy you dismissed earlier? Yeah, he's right there." I pointed. "And he's Garmadon. The one before the Devourer Venom changed him."

She gasped. "You did this?"

I nodded. "You aren't the only smart one in the family." I looked at the hair in the bowl. "Though I wish I had gotten here before you ripped Misako's and Lloyd's hair out."

"You..." She threw herself at me and I dodged it. Then twisted and swept her legs out from under her. 

She tried to get up but I tackled her. "I don't think so," I snapped. She punched me and I felt blood start to come out of my nose. I pinned her with one hand and grabbed the handcuffs from my pocket. Then quickly put them on her. "The Quiet One is not so quiet anymore," I said smirking.

She tried to get free but she didn't. The cops led her to the van. "Lloyd, Y/n, I can change. I swear. Please just let me go," Harumi pleaded.

Lloyd stepped forward. "Looks like you're not the one that got away," he said and slammed the doors shut.

"Nice," I said. "But when did she say she's the one that got away?"

"When we were in the Oni temple."

"Oh." I looked around. "So what's next?"

He shook his head. "I don't know. How about me trying not to be so stupid and gullible?"

I narrowed my eyes at him. "Lloyd, it's not your fault. She cruel. I don't blame you for falling for her. I do blame myself for not paying attention to her more in the palace and letting you jump off the Bounty with her."

"What?"

I snorted. "I've been making sure you two haven't been alone together since I found out she was evil. You can see how that turned out."

"You two should both stop blaming each other," Cole said coming over with the others. "She could have done what she did to any of us."

"It wouldn't have worked on Jay since he has Nya," Lloyd muttered.

"Let's go," Kai said. We left.
