Gone

When I woke up they were all hovering over me. I groaned. "I'm fine," I said sitting up.

"Good," Lloyd said then pinched me.

"Ow! What was that for?"

"That's for scaring the heck out of all of us."

I glared. "Jerk."

"Thank you."

I looked around. "Where are we?"

"Mystake's tea shop," Nya said.

"Where's Garm...Dad, Mom, and Wu?"

"Hiding in Dareth's apartment," Cole said.

The ground shook and I stood up. "Looks like Harumi made a friend," I said looking out the window.

They followed my gaze. "Kai, Jay, Zane, and I will deal with that," Cole said.

I frowned. "Why are Lloyd, Nya, and I not coming?"

"Because I care too much about you to lose you and Harumi is after Wu so you need to go there," he replied.

I stared at him. "Did you just say you cared about me?"

He blinked. "Did I?"

"Yeah, you did," Nya said smiling.

He winced. "Whoops. I meant to admit that after this is all over." He looked at me. "Do you care about me?"

I nodded. "Yes, Cole, I do."

He smiled. "Good. I'll see you when we get back then." He and the others ran out.

"He could have kissed you before he ran for it," Nya muttered.

"Ew," Lloyd said. "That's my sister."

I huffed. "I thought I told you to not be an overprotective brother."

He glared. "Shut up."

"Can you two do this later?" Nya asked. "We have to get to Dareth's apartment."

"He started it," I muttered.

He scowled. "No, you did."

"Let's go," Nya said grabbing us both. We hopped from one roof to another until we got there. We found Mom, Dad, and Wu cornered in the hallway.

"Leave them alone, Harumi," I said moving in from of the trio.

"Quit trying to stop me, Y/n," Harumi shot back.

I made a frustrated sound. "You have the masks, you have powers, what could you possibly want Wu for?"

"Wu and Garmadon."

"You aren't getting any of them," I snapped.

She smirked. "I heard you became a Garmadon. How stupid."

I raised an eyebrow. "Really? Because that's exactly what you wanted. You wanted Garmadon to adopt you."

She glared. "Shut up."

"No. Go away. This is my family now and I won't let you take them away from me."

She laughed. "You can't stop me."

I moved into a fighting stance. "Watch me," I growled.

Water suddenly exploded out of the pipes and hit Harumi full in the chest. Garmadon handed Wu to Lloyd and me. "Go," he said. "We'll hold her off." I opened my mouth to protest but he shook his head. "Go."

I picked Wu up and ran for it with Lloyd right behind me. "I hate this. Why didn't I notice this sooner?" I said unhappily.

Lloyd glared. "I thought we agreed we would stop blaming ourselves."

I winced. "Right. Sorry." Suddenly Ultra Violet showed up and launched herself at me. I tossed Wu to Lloyd and kicked her in the face. "Get him out of here," I yelled dodging a punch.

Lloyd watched for a minute. "You better survive," he told me sharply then he ran.

"I'll try," I muttered. She launched herself at me and I flipped and kicked her in the face. "Back off," I snapped.

"Give us the kid," she replied.

"Over my dead body." I tripped her and ran after Lloyd. He was at the edge of the roof. "We'll just jump onto the next shuttle," I said. Another one came and we jumped. Suddenly Harumi was there with the purple mask on. I glared at her. "We're not giving you Wu."

She laughed. "You will. You're trapped."

I looked up and grinned. "I don't think so." I snatched Wu from Lloyd and took a running jump. Harumi grabbed me but I tossed Wu. "Catch him," I yelled and landed with a slam back on the roof of the stupid shuttle.

Cole caught him. "Guys!" He yelled.

Suddenly the stone warrior she made grabbed the boat. She forced Lloyd and me to watch as it crushed the bounty. "No," Lloyd and I yelled. 

Harumi dropped us. "They're gone. What are you going to do about it?"

"Defeat you," I spat. I grabbed Lloyd's hand we both jumped off the shuttle and into the boat Mom and Nya had got. Harumi will so pay for that.
