I watched the Ninja (minus Lloyd) sing to Wu. They are absolutely terrible, I thought to myself. I looked over at Lloyd. He was still blaming himself for what happened. Both Misako and Garmadon both told him it wasn't his fault but he still thinks it is. Not that I blame him for thinking that since I've been thinking the same thing. I got up and sat across from Lloyd. "Lloyd, we both have got to stop blaming ourselves about Harumi," I said.
He glanced at me. "I don't get why you're blaming yourself. It's not like you fell in love with her."
I rolled my eyes. "I did love her. She was my sister. I should have noticed this from the beginning. I should have told my father that it was a bad idea to have you guys supervise the speech. I should have let you leave the palace instead of asking you to stay. I should have jumped off the Bounty when you both went overboard." I paused. "There's a lot of 'I should have's', Lloyd. But now she's in jail. There's nothing we can do for her and nothing I would want to do for her."
He was looking at the TV. "You're right. There are a lot of 'I should have's'."
"No one loved her more than we did," I told him. "But we can't keep blaming ourselves for what's happened. We need to move on. So what do you say? Move on or stay blaming ourselves?"
He sighed. "You aren't going to leave me alone about this, are you?"
"Your parents don't leave me alone," I replied. "They bug me more than they bug you. It's only fair I bug you back."
He snorted. "Alright. You win. Let's move on."
"Good."
He looked at me. "Y/n, I think my parents think of you as their daughter."
"Probably. That would just make us siblings."
"It would," he agreed.
I watched him for a minute. "I wouldn't mind being your sister."
He smiled. "I wouldn't mind being your brother."
"Maybe I could ask if they would take me in," I said thoughtfully looking at Misako and Garmadon.
He followed my gaze. "Yeah."
I smirked at him. "Actually, since it was your idea, so you should be the one to ask them."
He scowled. "I should have seen that coming."
I laughed. "Hey, at least you don't have to wait long. They're coming over here."
He looked over and saw I was right. He groaned. "You signaled them, didn't you?"
"Of course I did, big brother."
He huffed. "Thanks."
"You're welcome."
Misako and Garmadon sat down. "What are you two talking about?" Misako asked.
I looked at Lloyd. He glared. I tilted my head toward them, telling him to tell them. He sighed. "Mom, Dad, is there a way that you could...um...adopt Y/n?" He asked.
Garmadon looked at him. "You want us to adopt her?"
"Yes."
"Then it's a good thing we just finished the paperwork that says she's ours," Misako said.
Lloyd and I both stared at her. "You were already planning to adopt me?" I said.
"Yes."
Lloyd scowled at me. "So there was no reason for me to ask."
"Hey, I didn't know they did that," I said defensively.
"Yup, they're already arguing like siblings," Garmadon said. He and Misako walked away.
"Hey, Lloyd, could you help me get Cole to start dating me?" I asked suddenly.
Lloyd raised an eyebrow. "You like him?"
"Obviously. If I didn't I wouldn't have asked the question."
He thought for a minute. "Why don't you just tell him how you feel?" He frowned. "Wait. Why are you taking advice from me?"
"Because you know him better than I do."
Cole and Zane came over. "Hey, Y/n, guess what," Cole said.
"What?" I asked.
"Zane just finished making your Ninja suit." He pulled it out of a box and showed me. It was completely golden.
"Wow," I breathed. "It's amazing."
"Your weapons are throwing stars and a sword."
Zane nodded. "Since those were the two weapons you did good with when we were teaching you."
I raised an eyebrow. "You've been working with me for two hours every day."
"Yes, and that was enough to show us what weapon you were good with."
I sighed. "Okay."
"Go change into it," Cole said handing it to me.
I huffed. "Fine." I went into the bathroom and put it on. I couldn't even do spinjitsu but they were determined I take my place with them. I came out. "There," I grumbled.
They all looked me up and down. "It looks good," Lloyd said. "You are now the Spirit Ninja."
I smiled. "Thanks, brother."
Cole blinked. "Brother?"
"My parents adopted her," Lloyd muttered. "But I don't regret it."
"Yeah, and you better not be overprotective," I said firmly.
Lloyd smirked. "Sorry. Can't promise anything on that."
"Jerk."
He laughed. "Only fair, little sister."
I sighed then looked at the TV and froze. It was showing a tape of Harumi escaping the Station. "Guys," I said.
They looked. "How...?" Lloyd said.
I watched it carefully. "Dareth, pause when I say, okay?"
He nodded. "Sure thing, Y/n."
The news people replayed it and after a few minutes I said, "Now." He paused it. "Look." I pointed. "Her hands are glowing purple."
"She must have gotten powers when she tried to bring the evil me back," Garmadon said.
"But she failed," Lloyd said.
"Yes, and it looks like those masks gave her powers instead."
I stared at Harumi then looked at the others. "This just got a whole lot more complicated."
