BLESSED CHILDREN: Blessed children are babies born with a symbol on their chest representing one of the four seasons. Those who are blessed are deemed next in line for the throne. Two children with the symbol are born every fifty years or so.
BATTLE OF THE BLESSED: In order to take over the throne the two blessed children must enter in a fight once they reach of age. The last one standing is named the new queen/king.
MARKED CHILDREN: Marked children are babies born with a symbol on their forearms representing one of the four seasons. Those who are marked are then made one of the council members when they turn of age. Usually four new representatives are born every thirty years or so.
