Why must we have detention!

It was the usual day, of course with the weekly occasion of a fight. And the fight was always between the two rivals, Severus Snape and James Potter.

"Go to hell potter!" Yelled Severus Snape, James pulling at his wand and shooting a expelliarmus, Severus narrowly dodging it.

"You belong there! Snivy!" Shouted James, smirking.

Severus sneered at him, then called James's hair, bad.

The pissing of James

He attacked Severus to the ground trying to pull his hair, Severus just trying to get him off him, pushing on his chest and grabbing him.

But except this day, when they are usually stopped by a teacher, and Severus has all the blame on him and was the only one given a punishment no matter who started it.

"You both, Detention after classes." Dumbledore said to the 2 7th years that were on top of the ground one on top of the other.

"Wait what? Bu-" James started but was interrupted by Dumbledore. No

"No buts, I said what I said, you've gotten away with it one too many times." Dumbledore calmly said. "I'll see you 2 after classes, and don't try to attack each other in any way anymore, I'll know and it'll be way for detentions that this time. Goodbye."

James and Severus got off from one another, while James glared at Severus, he didn't do anything but the onyx eyed boy saw him glaring at him and quickly left, gathering his things first from the floor of course.

The other student who were in a big circle around them who were previously watching the fight between the 2 rivals disbanded rather quickly.

"Damn mate, imagine having detention with Snivillous." Said a voice from behind him, Sirius.

"Ugh, don't rub it in Padfoot.." James groaned, obviously not liking the fact that he had to spend time even if it was just detention, with Severus Snape.

Sirius just smirked and kept on teasing him.

"Who knows? Maybe you'll fall in love and kiss-" Sirius teased before James slapped him on the head. Ouch, anyway then Remus came in.

"Don't hit Padfoot, prongs, we still have the rest of the school day ahead of us right now, so let's get to class." Remus scolded, he had always been the responsible goody two shoes (James's words) in their group of four, speaking of which where is the 4th one that partly cause the black plaque? Oh here he comes.

Peter Pettigrew came running towards them, then panting heavily from there.

"I- ran- all the way- here from- the- farthest floor-" he managed to say between panting.

As they all walked together to their next class James wondered a few things.

What was Snivillous like with people he was close to? He heard Lily say that he was a lot different with friends. He heard him laugh for the first time freely and so, so something that James couldn't describe.

Why has Peter not been talking to them 24/7 like a clingy fan or paparazzi anymore?peter now spent some of his time with the marauders unlike before where he wouldn't go anywhere without at least one of them.

Severus seemed like he could have a different side to him? Should he try to become friends with him, would that complicate things as they are now.

As James wondered about this and other endless thoughts they arrived at their class transfiguration.

Nah nah nah, no way, James thought how ever he just closely got to them, sitting behind them and there he heard it... 'never thought Snivy could say that....'

"You should bring me to a hotel in Hogsmeade, we could have fun~" Severus Flirtingly said, James felt like throwing up.

Though oddly not cause of Severus's words, in fact, he liked those words... though he didn't like that they were not for him, instead for some Slytherin in their year...
