JAMES POV

Severus was trying to push me off turning his head away and yelling and blabbering for me to get off and I just kept on going, noticing his cheeks have turned slightly crimson.

SLAP!

Severus slapped James.

"OWWW, Sev!" James rubbed his cheek, the sting of the slap still there, Severus just crossed his arms and turned away, totally not trying to hide the slight guilt at hurting him.

"You deserved it, and don't call me that." Severus softly said, trying not to give in to the guilt. He deserved it anyways, though hurting him.

James immediately noticed his feeling of slight guilt. He came closer to Severus, crouched down, and put one hand on Severus's waist.

"Aww, does my dear darling feel bad." Said James in a teasing tone.

SLAP

Yeah he deserved that one, but still.

"Harder~"

Severus was stunned, and the class including Slughorn, pretended not to listen, though Taking in every word.

"I REFUSE Nuh uh, I'm not dealing with this not today!" Severus stomped to the fore and just as he was about to leave, the bell rung and class had ended, so good thing cause now he won't get in trouble.

James just burst out laughing.

He exited the class with the marauders. Sirius laughing at the prank, Remus scolding him, and Peter silently but happily watching them while munching on a cookie.

"That really caught Snivy off guard huh!?" Laughed Sirius.

"Don't encourage it Padfoot." Remus said as he slapped the back of Sirius's head.

"Oww! Oh yeah that reminds me, today's Hogsmeade! Are you ready to go Prongs?" Sirius asked James.

All of the sudden James became conscience of the butterfly pin on the back of his hair that Severus gave him.

He had an idea.

"Actually, I have something really important to do at Hogsmeade, but maybe h can catch up with you guys later, bye!" James ran away to Hogsmeade leaving the marauders confused.

'I swear if he falls in love with Severus' thought Peter, rolling his eyes.

James ran to a specific shop in Hogsmeade that specializes in jewelry making and selling.

"Hi my names Davina how can I help you?" Say the green eyes young woman at the register. James took off the pin from his hair.

"Hello, could you please replicate this pin exactly how it is, color shape and all?" Asked James, holding out the pin to the lady.

"Of course, let me scan and take a few reference photos of it and then we can talk about the materials and price for it." Said the lady.

After she was done she turned to James.

"So the materials, since you are just a kid and you probably don't have much money-" the lady said, assuming that James was from a normal family and therefore not rich af.

"Ruby, gold, and Silver please." James said, showing his pouch of galleons, the woman, Davina, was surprised but decided not to question it.

"That'll be 97 galleons please." Said the lady, James payed her the galleons. "It'll be ready in 2 weeks, anything else?"

James thought for a moment, then remembering the necklace he transfigured for Severus.

"Oh yes, I don't have a reference but can I transfigure something in this shop to show you how I want it?" James asked, Davina nodded, then pointed to a pencil right by them.

James transfigured it into the black necklace with a green emerald in the middle that he made for Severus.

"Black ebony and Emeralds please." James said, the woman nodded and said it would be 56 galleons.

James payed and left, knowing that the two jewelry items would  be ready in 2 weeks exactly.

James was holding the butterfly pin in his hand when it transfigured back to its original item. James was a little disappointed but the feeling quickly went away when he remembered that he would have the real thing in just 2 weeks.
