Orion took in the icy winds with a soft exhale, his breath creating a little cloud that flew from his mouth. He overlooked the countryside of the castle, all the cute vampiric villages looking like little white dots, covered in frosty snow.
"Orion? Isn't it too cold out here?" Vincent asked, coming to his side on the balcony. Orion smiled at the sight of one of his lovers and buried his nose into Vincent's throat.
"You must be really cold, then." Vincent sighed, running a loving hand through Orion's hair. "Look at you, you're all red!"
Orion pouted and pulled his head out. "I'm fine. Dad gave me this coat. Said it was a hand-me-down." Orion did a little twirl in the probably ancient fur coat. "I'm very warm."
Vincent gave him an unconvinced once-over. "Whatever you say, love." He placed his hand on the small of Orion's back, overlooking the country he will one day rule alongside his brother. "Isn't it beautiful?" Orion sighed. "The mountains, the trees, the lights in the village? It's so picturesque."
"They're setting up for solstice, now," Vincent responded. "All the children of the village are going to line the sides of the streets with their parents as we ride a sleigh and hand out gifts."
"We?" Orion's eyes went wide. "As in, Klaus, you and I?"
"Of course! It's tradition." He smiled. "That's why you're in that coat. It's belonged to every bride of every king. Now it's yours."
Orion blushed, feeling strange after being called a bride. He wasn't sure if he liked it or not.
"Bride is a cute title for you." Klaus slinked up to his side, wrapping his arm around Orion's waist. "The vampire brother's bride. The virgin sacrificed to the evil vampire kings."
Orion shivered at the idea that sat in his brain. Dressed in all white with blood stains dotting his collarbone, and bite marks all over his neck, crying behind a veil as he's held down by two cruel men.
Vincent hummed at the thought. "You would be beautiful in a wedding dress. If you'd like to wear one, of course. If not, that's okay, too! Maybe a gorgeous tux--"
Orion shut up Vincent with a kiss. "It's alright, baby. I'm not offended that you think I would look pretty in a dress."
Vincent breathed a sigh of relief and kissed him again, deepening it sweetly.
Orion smiled into the kiss, getting those warm fuzzy feelings in his chest. "I love you." He murmured against Vincent's lips.
"What about me?" Klaus pouted. Orion sighed and hugged him, placing a chaste kiss on the side of his lips. "I love you, too."
Klaus and Vincent had coaxed, after feeling Orion's bare hands and finding him a little too cold, for him to come inside. Orion didn't want to go, but those damned princes offered him cuddles by the fireplace and the richest hot chocolate money could buy and he found himself back in the castle.
They chose a random room in the castle, one dad had claimed would be the room of the next heir, and lit the logs.
Orion was laid on a cashmere blanket and sandwiched by his princes, their legs tangling together.
