Sukuna's breath smells like alcohol and tobacco as he buries his face into my neck, whispering things into my ear. Did you miss me? I know you want me. I'm going to fuck you so good.
He has me pinned against the kitchen wall. That's how far we made it before he decided he wanted me then and there. He doesn't notice that I'm crying. Or shaking. Or that I haven't said a damn word. My body doesn't feel like my own. It's like I'm separated, looking down at myself from a bird's eye view.
We both jump when the door to my apartment slams open.
"What the--"
My knees give out when I see my brother.
Toji looks furious, absolutely lethal as he strides towards us, like every muscle in his body is strung tight. I've never seen him like this before and maybe it should be scary. But I don't feel scared.
I feel relieved.
My brother came for me.
"Hey man--" Sukuna starts, taking a small step away from me even as his arm stays wrapped tightly around my waist.
"Get your fucking hands off of her or I'm going to blow your fucking brains out," Toji spits, reaching behind him into the waistband of his pants. With horror and a little awe, I stare at the gun in his hand. I'm frozen in place, unable to move.
Surely he wouldn't--
"I'm giving you five seconds before I shoot you in the head and end your fucking worthless life," Toji lifts the gun, hand steady, right at Sukuna's head.
Sukuna's releases me like I've burned him, holding his hands up in front of him. "Holy shit, bro. I wasn't doing anything."
"If you want to die, keeping talking," my brother takes a step forward.
"Fuck!" Sukuna takes a step back, further into the kitchen. "You don't want to do this, man!"
"You're going the wrong way," Toji laughs, even as he pushes Sukuna further into the kitchen. He turns to me for a second. "Y/n, go grab Elaine from out in the hallway and go into your room. Lock the door."
I nod shakily, quickly walking to the hallway. As he said, Elaine is waiting outside the door when I pull it open, crying. She sobs when she sees me, running to hug me.
"Oh, thank God," she wraps her arms around me.
"Let's go to my room," I tell her quietly. We enter the apartment again and I glance into the kitchen. I can't hear what they're saying, but Toji has Sukuna sitting in one of the chairs, his hands still up. I'm almost glad Sukuna isn't sober tonight. Inebriated, he can't even put up a fight against my brother. Well...even sober, I'm not sure what he could do against a Glock.
I don't believe that Toji will shoot him.
I know he wants to, but if he hasn't yet...then I think Sukuna will stay breathing for now.
I do still wonder what Toji's saying to him.
Elaine and I sit on my bed, a blanket wrapped around both of our shoulders. She tries to ask me what happened after she left with Sukuna, but I just shake my head. Everything is still numb. I stare blankly ahead, waiting to hear some sort of confirmation that Sukuna's gone and it's okay to come out.
After a few more minutes, there's a gentle knock at the door.
"He's gone," my brother's voice murmurs on the other side.
Elaine looks at me and rubs my shoulder once before pulling herself up. The blanket falls off my shoulder. She walks to the door, cracking it open.
"Do you need a minute, Y/n?" She asks softly.
