"Dad.. another time." I warn my father only for him to ask her anyway.

Watching the confusion and sadness on my mates face crushes me. Somehow our connection was instantly lost.

I was lost.

Why did I keep this from her?

Feeling stupid all I could do is watch her pain.

"Who else knows?" She questions.

Of all questions. "Lily," I begin.

"Who else knows", her heritage speaking through her anger causing the room to shake and everyone into submission.

I have no other option, I've hid enough from her already.

"Myself, my parents, Blade and..." this one is going to hurt the most. "Harper." I breath.

I feel her sadness consume her and all I want to do I reach out and comfort her.

Why did we come here?

Why did I hide this from her?

I hate my father.

I hate myself.

I see the panic in her face as her eyes become wet and she stands to leave.

I try to follow her but she booms in a voice, more powerful than mine and my fathers put together. "Stay away from me!"

My feet are like glue as I stand there helplessly unable to chase after the love of my existence, my mate.

As I sense her getting further and further away I feel my mothers hand on my shoulder.

"Get off me!" I grit through my teeth.

"That's no way to speak to you mother." My father booms.

Unaffected by his tone I challenge him. "How dare you? You couldn't stop could you, you had to keep on pushing and now she is gone!" Shaking my head at my father I pick up my keys and leave the manor.

Once I leave the estate I pull my car over and hop out.

Sniffing the air I become anxious I cannot pick up her scent.

"Lily!" I scream into the darkness only to be replied with silence.
