I run all the way back to Wolf Creek College and make it to my dorm building.

What game is she trying to play?

I finally thought to myself.

Slowly making my way up to my room and I slam the door open.

Great my room mate is here and I got her attention.

"Ouch." She comments before returning to her screen.

Throwing myself in the bed crying silently to myself before everything goes black.

I feel as if the darkness will swallow me whole.

The trees are closing in on me, it's claw-like ready to strike.

I feel it in my core, the creature hiding within the shadows is creeping closer, I feel it breathing down my neck.

I turn around to see those black eyes staring deep within my soul, without warning it pounces on top of me, clawing at my neck..

As I lay here in a cold sweat I wait for my heart to regulate.
I reach for my phone. 4:18am.

Quietly getting out of bed, making sure I don't wake my room mate, I grab my things and make my way to the shower block.

After a long, hot shower I'm free of the remanants of my dream. As I stand infront on the mirror I see a sight of horror, there on my neck I have 3 red lines.

Scratches.

How could this be.

No.

I must of done it in my sleep last night.

I figure.

I shrug it off and do my skincare routine, followed by my makeup. Throwing on a black tank top and jeans, I braid my hair to the side.

Looking at my phone. It's now 5:38am.

I decide to walk to the cafe and get a coffee.

Surely it opens by 6am.

As I exit the dorm building I feel the air nip my skin. It is almost Autumn and I can feel the cold nearing.

I am suddenly reminded of my dream as I walk past a forest lined street to get the the cafe. I goose when I see the claw like branches sway in the breeze.

I stop and myself to know I'm not dreaming.

I didn't wake up.

Just as I am about to continue on I hear a twig snap from behind me. I slowly turn.

This is all too real.

What is waiting for me behind my back.

It's Daniel.
