An alarm clock sends a loud sound throughout the bedroom followed by a hand slapping the button on top of it.

Having a modern phone with the alarm app never really interested her.

The alarm clock was a few years old already but it was a gift and it'd be a shame if it never got used.

Cassidy hops out of bed and stretches before heading to the kitchen to fix up a cup of joe.

"Just a couple of meetings today. And hopefully get started on that big project I'm in charge of."

Work used to be in office until work at home became an option. Who would pass up the opportunity to stay home AND make money?

It was about 15 minutes until the first meeting started.

Getting herself settled into the workspace, which is now just the desk in her bedroom. Perusing some notes, making sure everything was in order so she wouldn't look like a fool. Not again.

Jumping from meeting to meeting and before you know it, she's done for the day.

Sadly, there wasn't enough time to work on the big project but there's always tomorrow.

The sun soon goes down, marking the end of the day.

Suddenly there's a knock at the door.

She opens it and there's April with a huge smile on her face.

"What's got you all excited today? The stock market go in your favor?" Cassidy questioned.

April wasn't the kind of person to get excited easily but it really is a treat when she does.

"Like you would know anything about investing." April replies and pauses for a second.

"You really need to see this. Let's go." April says.

"Ugh. Do I have to?" Cassidy complains.

Cassidy was basically tuckered out from work and just wanted to chill for the rest of the day. Or night.

"Trust me. You're gonna want to see this." April says confidently.

April drags a reluctant Cassidy to her room and points to something on the computer.

Cassidy covers her mouth in shock and backs away.

"There's no way this is real. Am I being pranked right now?" Cassidy exclaimed.

She takes a seat on the swivel chair and just stares at the screen.

"Look it over then call me. I'll be in the living room." April says as she walks away so Cassidy has time to process everything.

"I've gone my whole life, wondering where this asshole went. Maybe it's time to pay him a visit."
