"Fuck no," I replied immediately.
"Then you wouldn't mind if I asks him out right?" she asks again
"..." I wanted to say something, but knowing Adam, he'll either turn her down or go on a pity date with him. poor girl... why is she even interested in 'that' thing?
"I would actually, why would you wanna go out with Adam?" I questioned her
"I've had a crush on him since last year, and I thought the both of you are together, so I was afraid to approach him, but after time and time again of you saying you're both not dating, I finally believed it." she replied
'ahhh, I see, poor girl, she's gonna get her heartbroken. If only Adam wasn't that good looking.' I thought to myself. Fine, I'll save her the time, "Act...actually, me and Adam are dating, but we just want to keep it a secret" I told her, hoping she'll give up on him. I wanna puke as the words come out of my mouth, I will never fall for 'that' thing.
"Really...?" she looked at me with a sad face
"y-yeah..." I hesitated
"I KNEW IT" she yelled, her mood suddenly changing, "I KNEW YOU AND ADAM ARE DATING, I WON THE BET" she said as she took out her phone and replayed the recording she took
